I'm ok with votes, like you said above music is subjective and it really wouldn't bother me a bit if I was last by a mile. It would be nice to see what the overall consensus is on each category I suppose.
My super group may suck, but that would be one hell of a guitar solo. I may not have the top Jimi, but my mob of guitarist is damn impressive

I had sort of assumed that there would be some form of vote.
Me or Berger will win though. We have AWESOME taste in music.
I can understand why others wouldn't want to have a vote, cause I have a feeling we'd just blow them out of the water with our musical awesomeness...it wouldn't even be close in my opinion

HD picked U2 for UK, and few others too. Just let it be
Erm.. I'm not trying to be a stickler or anything, but actually U2 had to go into the World category, which was decided in a similar conversation as this one re: The Trews. I mean it's all well and good to say let things be but if the rest of us couldn't pick a Canadian band in the World category, why should the last pick get to? We all decided on the rules in the beginning.

Erm.. I'm not trying to be a stickler or anything, but U2 WAS allowed in the UK category, but I decided my own pick shouldn't be there and moved them.
