I've updated the board til the end of the 16th round and will update the rest tomorrow (I'm sleepy now). I think we're all a little lost on who needs to pick what so there will be NO PICKS on Monday as I will need to finish the rest of the board and work all of it out and then list who needs to pick what. SORRY.
(actually I may the only one allowed to make picks on Monday to catch up although I don't have any idea who to pick yet)
Also once this is all sorted out, after kermitology makes his final pick in the 18th round I will add 2 extra wildcard rounds. Thanks for your dedication to this draft while I've been too busy

1. Instrumental Soloist - Felix Mendelssohn
2. Guitarist - Angus Young! (can't believe no one picked him, but I saved him til last since everyone else already picked their guitar players)
I'll get some cool stuffs together for these picks later this evening.
First off, I'd like to thank GirlySports for all her hard work putting this draft together. As grumpy as some of us got, I'm sure we all appreciate the amount of effort you've put into this thing.
And now, for my last pick of the draft, Dr. Funke's 100% Natural Good-Time Family Band Solution is pleased to select The Dandy Warhols in the category of West of the Mississippi
Thanks again Girly!

I've been extremely conflicted, trying to decide what song to pick. There are so many great songs out there. I laid down a couple of rules for myself:
1. Must be an original....I eliminated my favorite Zeppelin tune, All Along the Watchtower (Jimi's version) with this one.
2. It must have lyrical significance. There are great, great songs that aren't very deep. I wanted to pick something that is both musically and lyrically genius. That's not to say those other songs aren't just as good. They just don't fit for my pick here.
In the end, I chose this song over several other great songs....like Supertramp's School, Elton John's Funeral For a Friend & Indian Sunset, Dave Matthews Band's Don't Drink the Water (this song made a strong push which surprised me), several Pearl Jam tunes, MotherLoveBone's Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns and the great Alice In Chains' Love Hate Love.
So without further adieu, AliceLoveGarden is proud to select in the SONG category, from Pink Floyd's most underrated album, The Division Bell....HIGH HOPES.
So many Floyd fans don't give this album (or any post-Waters album) a fair shake. I think it's brilliant. Some of Gilmour's best stuff. This is also, without a doubt, one of the greatest music videos ever made. I absolutely adore every second of this song.

On to my final two picks of the draft...this has been fun. It started really quickly, and may have stalled a little bit in the recent past, but it was a great experience to learn about all of your favorite artists out there. I have heard so much great music because of this thread. I would often try and listen/watch the youtube videos posted to get a sense of the pick. I really wish I had more musical knowledge than I do. I think a lot of my selections would be defined as fairly generic, and mainstream. I have never really gotten in to the music that is out of the spotlight, and for that I am probably missing out on a lot. Anyways...
For my wildcard singer, I am going to select GORDON DOWNIE of the Tragically Hip. I was first introduced to Downie and the Hip when my Uncle gave me his cassette tape of UP TO HERE, and to this day, it is my favorite Hip album.
A staple on the radio, New Orleans is Sinkin', killer whale tank version.
And for my world band selection, I am going to select from Australia, Silverchair.

SUCH a good song. Easily my favourite Pink Floyd song of all time. Props

GREAT song, if you haven't, listen to David Gilmour's live version on Live at Gdansk...it's amazing....actually that whole album is amazing.
My pick(s) will come shortly, I'm in class and my battery is at 10% so I'll get er done later tonight.
