You aren't actually supposed to video concerts and if they see you they shut you down. So someone would have had to have perfect accidental timing.

Haha, is this from the 90's? "There's a fan videoing the concert in section 109, row 12, get him!!!!". Other than a select few bands/artists, most shows are a sea of phones recording.

I hate going to shows now because 20,000 people are watching it through their ####ing phones...kills the whole atmosphere

Yeah, that's why I was surprised by GioforPM's post. I mean that's all concerts are now is a sea of people recording and he's suggesting you can't record or someone will stop you, lol.
I mean, I remember that being a thing in the 90's when I was a kid, but that was because there was only a handful of people with the equipment and willingness to bring a large recorder into a concert, so they could clamp down easily. You'll see it once in a blue moon now days (Jack White did it for one tour where you had to check your phone in and couldn't have it for the concert).

Of all the concerts I've gone to I've only got into trouble for recording once around 2011 and I think it was only because the guy was new and was trying to be too strict. Our section was bare too so it was easy to see me.
There's been times where I've been right next to the stairs recording songs and security doesn't care. Most bands now have clued in that not caring about recording will attract people who want to experience a show in person after seeing it on YouTube.

High profile comedy shows are the only place I've seen that you'll get the secret service after you for recording some video. I once saw a dude tackle some guy who was recording video and then tried to leave at a small Dave Chappelle show. Most musical artists love to have all the free promotion of folks posting concert video on their social media en masse.

And for 95% of them the video will never be replayed again, just sitting on their phones. Who wants to watch some trash recording with trash sound quality… so stupid.

I see it quite a bit. But it's like taking your own beer onto a golf course, you get busted if you are obvious with it.
They don't care about pictures, but they will tell you to quit it if you are videoing for 15 minutes. And I suspect at a Buble concert it's not as hard for them to enforce because people are just sitting.

The dumb thing is that are you really going back to watch the ####ty video you took at X concert however long ago? People are just doing it as reflex now, it's so ridiculous.

I always refer to him as Mikey Bubbles. A great gangster name, and he sorta reminds me of one since he's almost always in a suit.

I quite enjoy his Christmas album.
As you get older; I find your taste don’t always change, but the pallet grows.
I work for a metal station, but I also enjoy plenty of different genres
Just not nickel back. They actually suck same with U2

Meh generic, catchy. But individual members stand out more than bands like nickel back. Why?

OT but I saw Nickleback open for Ever Clear at Max Bell a million years ago.

I guess Johnny must be taking time off around the birth of his daughter. Had been looking for highlights but as far as I can see he has only played one preseason game so far, and I'm not sure if that was televised or not because I can't find a highlight pack for that game.

But how else will you remember that amazing moment where you were so engaged with your phone?
