Bump for Lunqvist's new mask. King Henrik going away from his usual design. This one's pretty cool.

It was done last year, supposely it'll be worn sometime this year for one game and it will be auctioned off afterwards.

Bishop's mask is sick. Wish he went with a lighter (or more reflective) cage

I'm quite sure he chose the flat grey coloured cage for visibility reasons not aesthetics.

I'm sure he did. Some goalies can handle a lighter cage, while others find it distracting, I get that. I just personally don't like the contrast of such a flashy helmet with a "blah", dull metal-coloured cage. Hopefully it'll look different under the bright arena lights.

Awesome. I wish they'd use that logo again.

I like Reimer's mask. Mike Smith's is pretty original, which is cool.

Does Alice Cooper have any sort of relationship with the Coyotes? First time I went to a game in Phoenix it was Alice Cooper bobblehead night and he dropped the puck for the ceremonial faceoff...

He was born in Detroit but grew up in Phoenix and is a big Coyotes fan.

I think Mike Smith said Either Alice Cooper was a fan of the team or Mike Smith was a fan of Alice Cooper in the video on the Arizona Nhl site.

What's up with these glow in the dark masks? That Dallas mask looks silly, and last I checked... goalies aren't in the dark too often.

I think all Oilers tenders buy their masks at an Edmonton SportSwap. Don't want to spend real money on a mask they won't need in a year.

DaveArt tweeted that he was doing a "Slimer" mask for Talbot in Oiler orange. So I doubt the mask in that photo is the one he will end up using.
