I don't see why they would. They don't want to draft outside of the top 4 any more than we do.
At this point, winning the lottery looks like the only thing we can hope for.

Nope. Not in this draft. Fans that think the Flames are going to be able to move that Penguins pick to move up are going to be very disappointed. If the Flames finish 11th that's where they are going to be picking.

Who knows, but now instead of drafting top 3 and having 2 other 1st rounders, we might have to give up all 3 first rounders just to go back to drafting top 3 (if anyone is even willing to move down). Well, I guess we are going to win the lottery. We are bound to, right, after every break going against this franchise for 20+ years? Jebus owes us one time.

Maybe a bunch of our young guys learning to WIN instead of learning to LOSE is actually worthy dropping down in the draft.
Maybe we can bundle our first with St. Louis' first and get the fifth overall pick.
