I don't know if it's the exact font she used, but it's pretty much the capital C from Helvetica Bold Italic.

Disagree. I like the retro's for retro's or 3rds, but they look outdated and kinda like lumberjack pajamas overall. I know there's lots of love for them here and generally - but to me they don't look as classic as some people like to believe that they are. Compared to the classics like detroit, chicago, boston, montreal, etc. I think there are better ways to go with a classic-ish design (leaving black out) that would be fine. Several on this thread actually. But I really do like the black flaming C as a primary crest. I think maybe we could do with less black overall, but I still think it's a good secondary color. I'd also like to bring out the yellow a bit more in future designs.

I think it's slightly better than what we ended up with. I think read on here that Darryl Sutter demanded a waist stripe, so we ended up with the yellow and red/white on the hem that makes the jerseys way worse.
