I did figure out the "more info" thing. That will only appear if you are holding the device in portrait mode; landscape doesn't give you that option.
Both my regular and pro versions show as 3.5. I'm guessing you looked for updates and stuff so is it possible its a ipad2 issue? Both portrait and landscape show me the same things for options.

Pro version is insane, almost too much to going on for a noob. The amount of stars compared to the regular version is almost stupid. I really wish I had a good telescope because you can hook it up by wifi or Bluetooth to the app to locate things in the sky. If you are really into this stuff I recommend spending the money.

I think I got it. Sounds like you are talking about Sky Safari. The question about no wifi connection was in regards to SkyView.

If anybody lives in the realm of the internets for work, Diet Coda was released today. For those wondering, Coda is a Mac app that acts as a site manager, FTP client, code (HTML, CSS, PHP) editor and terminal. It would appear that Diet Coda brings basically all of that to the iPad. Why would you ever want to code from an iPad? I'm not totally sure, but it's a pretty cool tool to have. If I was ever in a situation where I wasn't going to bring my laptop somewhere but did just because I might have to do a quick edit on a client site I could see it being a huge asset.

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/diet-...500906297?mt=8

Diet Coda costs $20 ($10 today only), and the full-fledged Coda 2 which was released today as well is in the Mac App Store for $100 ($50 today only).

If anybody tries this out I'd love to hear about it.

I think skipping CSS preprocessor support was a miss for Coda. Does anybody actually write CSS still?

I played with it a little after writing the post. It's obviously not an ideal platform to be writing much of anything on, but it'll certainly do in a snap. The app is beautifully laid out and very intuitive. Of course I don't do anything overly complicated with it, but for what I do it's an excellent ace up the sleeve.

This sounds tempting. Even the free version of sky safari is incredible.

Anyone know if there is a good app that allows me to draw freely or over pictures? i.e Take a picture with the iPhone/iPad then doodle over it. I have Draw Something but i'm looking for something different. Thanks.

Sketchbook Pro is AWESOME for this. I'm a terrible drawer, but have done some pretty cool things with it.

I've also done some less-than-cool things with it. If you want to push the nerdiness to 11, it works better than anything I've found for video game collectibles. When I was playing through Assassin's Creed 2 I had image maps of all the collectible locations loaded into it and I could physically scratch off the ones I found without having to print off a bunch of maps.
