Probably one of the few things they could do to get me back on board and pique my interest for next season. GG is intelligent but Sutter is intelligent, experienced and proven.

GG hasn't been bad, but hasn't been great. He has at times gotten a lot out of the team, but at other times failed to adjust when needed to avoid things falling apart. And this is a prominent example of things falling apart at the most important time.

I don't know if Glen is the guy that will be able to get the team's full potential out of them. Sutter could, mind you with a short shelf life.

This is the part of the post I agree with the most. It's the goddamn playoffs. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. You play your best players as much as you can. Playing you're bottom level players gets you the results that the Flames got currently.

It's not rocket science. It really feels like he's trying to reinvent the wheel and think outside the box. That's the same approach Jay Feaster took and look what he's doing now.
