Drunk driving idiots are the worst. I used to work with some guys that would always drive home drunk even after I'd offer them a ride home and even offered to pay for their taxi home anytime.
I literally said I would pay for their taxi anytime if they were drinking and it didn't matter. They were driving. It's very hard to reason with a drunk because they always think they're good to drive.

Hopefully he means for using the Car2Go to drive back to get your vehicle in the morning. I used to do that quite a bit, was a nice service for sure.

I knew people who wouldn't drive home but would take a car2go. So idiotic. I'm in a very cynical mood.
I think we are going to have to prepare this guy isn't going to get anything of relevance.
Surprised he hasn't pulled the post-war ptsd nonsense, veteran card yet.

Isn't it a 2 beer max per person, 10 beers is 5 trips to the concessions, how much of the game are people missing?

At 4, you have been seconded to another mission.....and the game isn't part of it.

I thought you can get 2 beers at a time, so people get 2 before the game start, then 2 in each intermission. That's 6?

Don't forget you can buy beers fom the vendors walking the steps as well. A person can easily buy and consume 10-12 beers during a hockey game. But again, who can afford that much money?

It's a horrible tragedy that happens to people like Johnny every few minutes in North America.

Nah. It's high profile, he was admittedly drunk and the Americans love to put people in jail.
Drunk driving and mowing 2 people down is way different than rolling a stop sign or a kid darting out into traffic.

I hate to be that guy, but would people be upset if this thread was moved to a different forum other than the Fire on Ice forum? I think I am probably speaking for more than myself on this. I am just not looking forward to seeing this on the main page for what will likely be a few years.
It's an important discussion. I definitely understand that. Just hoping it can be done on a different part of the forums.

I could probably afford it, but it would be painful.
How many fluid ounces is that even? You'd need new kidneys!
Doctor: "Sir...I regret to inform you that your kidneys have actually turned into some formerly unknown concoction of beer and heroin...Medical Science can't explain it and may God have mercy on your soul."
Goddammit....not again!

I’m not sure someone could “easily” consume that many. For the average game length, 12 beers means drinking 1 beer every 13 minutes for over two hours.
Doable, but like I said… that person has a problem.

You take that back! They are glorious!
Heroin beer is an institution!
When they make a new arena they need to take all of it with them! So that Heroin beer may continue!

You gave me a flashback to Montana route 200 across the middle of the state.
The pavement is so narrow, there are places where the white lines are actually painted on the grass. The road twists and turns like a rollercoaster. The speed limit is 70 mph.
And I had to speed on that road, because there was a big-ass pickup truck right on my tail doing 80. The guy wouldn't slow down for anything, he wouldn't or couldn't pass, and there wasn't even a wide spot where I could pull onto the shoulder and let him by. It was either keep ahead of him or become a hood ornament.
It was a nightmare in broad daylight.

Can confirm. I drive a chunk of 200 twice every year going home to visit. I love it though!

I'd have liked it a whole lot better without that truck behind me. Then I could have taken it a little easier on the curves.

Zero. Glass of wine with meal at home at Xmas and Thanksgiving. Heart issues. If we go to restaurants either wife or I will not drink.
