I think a win against a powerhouse like Chicago would give us a lot of confidence and momentum to get a winning streak going.

This game is all about getting our mojo back.
Just like the situation the first time we went through. People expecting us to fall in the standings and a team like Chicago to roll over us. Hiller with something to prove after losing his net recently.
Chicago playing last night. Good conditions for an upset and a chance for us to hit the reset button. Whether it's on the back of Hiller, or Gio/Brodie, or the kids, just gotta find a way.

Yeah Bollig not in lineup against his ex-team but I like Raymond - Stajan - Bouma as the 4th line for sure.. Much better.

Hopefully they can take advantage of the Hawks with their top guy being hurt. Flames have been close the last 4. Time to turn it around and prove they belong in playoff talk

Jooris has been on that line for 3 or 4 games now. Hence why people were calling it the Triple J line.

Granlund was between them the last few games.

Only for a few shifts. Him and Jooris were periodically switched through out the last 2.

For more than just a few shifts. For several games Jooris was between Glencross and Jones, while Granlund centered Gaudreau and Hudler. It was more than a few games ago when Jooris jumped up to that line and got his hat trick.

I personally feel that this is an opportunity for Raanta to win the starting job for 2015-16.
If the Canadian economy holds the Cap down, Crawford's contract becomes an issue for the 'Hawks. He IS a Cup winning goalie, and some teams that are close, but just feeling short by a goalie, might be willing to take that contract on. I feel that CC would be easier to move than Sharp, Bickell, or Seabrook (other names and contracts that have kicked around the rumor mill for 'Hawk salary dump).

On Bollig being out...are you guys SURE it's a message? The 'Hawks are NOT a physical or intimidating team, so, opponents are better off going with more skill to a. try to keep up with the 'Hawks, or b. try to pressure them by forcing them to defend. No need for "truculence" against us...our "tough guys" Shaw or Carbomb are pests, not threats.

Pretty sure it's a message to Bollig more than it has to do with the opponent. Bollig has gone from an every day player to a platoon player in a pretty short time. He hasn't shown any upside in his game and it's hurting his standing with the coaches and on the depth chart.

Bollig has basically done nothing this year.. Tough to say who has been more useful for us: Setoguchi? Galiardi? Bollig?
At least he fought last game or 2 games ago or whenever it was.
Truthfully I think the only reason he's survived this long is the argument, "well he was good enough for the Hawks, so why can't he be good enough for us"

I absolutely don't recognize the guy on this pre-game show on NHL Network...I take it "Hometown Hockey" is the Sportsnet Canadian feed?
