I mean, considering how bad the Canucks played there they're pretty lucky to just be down one. They also presumably have plenty of energy left because they didn't seem to be trying very hard.

Vancouver is lucky to be getting out of this period only down by 1. Zero killer instinct on that team, they looked either totally gassed or way too nervous

Canucks were brutal and are down by a grand total of one goal.
They do need to get going though in the 2nd before the Oilers get another goal or two. The game is still there for the taking, if they want it badly enough.

Down by 1 after 1 isn't so bad considering you knew the Oilers would come out strong. Vancouver will have a better 2nd. (Can't be any worse really.)

Vancouver likely loses tonight. Oilers were always going to take a couple stupid penalties in the first, and you needed to take advantage of that. You can't waste your PPs against this Oilers team, they are too deadly on their PP
