An embarrassment of a reaction by my Mayor. I can't believe there was this much overreaction about this tweet pic. The only partial bad thing is people might assume it's actually about oil, and not a hockey reference.

I wish Mandel had just come out and squashed this. He should have just said "who cares, it's not big deal".

Obviously I don't follow Edmonton politics at all, but from an outside perspective, all I ever hear about his how Mandel is flipping out and making mountains out of molehills. Is he actually that bad of a mayor, or is he simply ignorant of how goofy he makes his city look to outsiders?
