In checking online, the Lennox brand seems to be on top of many reviews and ratings.
My furnace clunked after 20 years and I'm now needing to replace it, and feel I'll do the water tank as well. Arpi's is who I have been using for repairs for the past number of years, but they're a Lennox dealer it seems and from what I am reading on here, that's not a good thing.

I had a Lennox in my last two houses and I didn't have any problems with them. I downsized to a new place last year, and wanted to upgrade to a better two stage Lennox one. The heating contractor put a Coleman two-stage
furnace instead rated 96.5% efficient. I didn't even know they made furnaces, but after I did some research they're actually very highly rated. They come with a five year replacement warranty (10 years if you register online) and a lifetime exchanger warranty too.
