Got back, had a good time, though the business part of it was pretty stressful.
I ended up checking out Fisherman's Wharf via cable car, the SF Aquarium, Chinatown, North Beach, Union Square, and last but not least, the Sony Metreon.
Overall it was a very fun time, and SF seems like a pretty cool city. If anyone else plans to go there, I highly reccomend the Argent hotel on 3rd st. Downtown, wicked view and great accomodations if you can afford it. (Company paid for my stay... don't even wanna know what it cost!)

I was in SF this past May and a lot of things mentioned are all worthy ... GoldenGate, Alcatraz, SBC Park (or whatever the Giants stadium is called this week),Fisherman's wharf, the cable car ride .. Union Square .. nearby Stanford University campus. I was only in the city itself for one full day but managed to get a lot in, probably walked a good 15-20K too!
One really neat thing about the Giants home stadium is that they have this FREE public viewing area at turf level right behind the right field outfield fence. There's a limit of about 300 people allowed in that area, and its standing room only, but you can practically see the whole game from there! The Dodgers were visiting that night (they hate LA up there as much as Calgarians hate Edmonton) so people were really into it and on top of that Bonds was vying to tie Ruth's record. Really awesome stuff, that has to be a very unique feature.
SF overall is a very cool city - perfect weather too .. not too hot, not too cold, and doesn't rain as much as Seattle or Vancouver!

Yeah, I should add... the weather was very nice. Kinda like Halifax minus the constant rain!
