You know the internet adds 60 lbs to your stature, especially when you're always in a heated debate with someone, haha.

It's funny how some people look exactly how you picture them, and others not so much.

I still this this was a really good idea, it definetely makes it less annoying knowing what the person looks like when posting snide remarks.

Was this the hidden solution to CP's disfunctionality? Perhaps!

alright, so I'm new to the FB, why is it that some people I can click on there image and get more pictures and info about them, but others I cant? this is kind of annoying.

Do people that are ones friend know each other in RL first? I goto MRC, and search through the people who also go there and saw a few aquaintances, do people normally add them? that almost seems odd to me still. I'm still not at the point where I understand this. To me I would want to go up the the person in RL and tell them that I saw them on FB, and that Ill add them to my friends next time im on there.

Any other things people can explain to me about this?

EDIT: btw who is Frank Boobie? sorry if that is really someone and their real name, but to me since it has no picture and no network, I assume its a fake? does Frank sound like Fake if you say it outloud?

You can look at people's profiles if they are in the same network as you. (ie, same school, city etc.). If you see people you know just add them, might seem weird at first but its basically the basis of the site.. once you start adding people people will start adding you too.
You can look at their pictures and some other more personal stuff if you have added them as your friends.

I didn't like it when I first signed up, thought it was kind of pointless.. but then once you add lots of friends.. start posting on other peoples wall... look at what other people are up to it gets kind of cool/addicting. I still really only spend like 15 min a day on there.. but i know lots of people that are on it for hours at a time.

Since Im a uofc transfer student, i put that down under education and cant click on the images there when I look @ the people pictures.
im confused

You have to be using your uofc email address to see peoples profiles that are in the uofc network. Doesn't work if you just enter in your education information. You can have more than one network.

you can enter the e-mail by adding a new network... look on the left hand side and click on my account and then go to the networks tab.

ahh I'm getting this thing now, I don't actually tranfer to UofC till next year, so I dont have an email addy there yet. Oh well. I did figure out how i join the Calgary Network though.
