But it does seem to imply or at least Hall impliles that there will be no 7th.

He's probably not signed beyond next season, If season 5 and 6 is a big success they might think hard before ending it.

Is it just me or is it kind of pathetic that the season is almost over.
Shows from the 80's had 25 episodes, now we're lucky to get 12. Add on to the lack of anything of quality on and it gets to the point where what's the point....

Cable shows rarely have more than 12 or 13, network shows still have 20 some episodes though.

But episodes of cable shows are usually longer since they don't include commercial breaks.

Dexter is the exception and is always around the 42 minute mark like a network show. The intro is looooong and there's always a long recap.

Network shows still follow that frame of show numbers. Shows on Cable (HBO, Showtime, AMC etc) tend to have less episodes... and tend to be a lot better.

Only 3 episodes left in the season.
You know that Robocop isn't going to drop his investigation, so the question is whether he becomes a friend or foe for Dexter. I have a feeling that he'll discover the truth and need to be dealt with, but Quinn will find out and be on Dexter's side.

Jonny Lee Miller was pretty damn creepy at the end there.
Can't believe this is almost over. I think Quinn is going to show Deb those pictures in an attempt to get her back. Deb was acting a little suspicious of Dexter when she met Lumen at the house, and if she sees those pictures of them on the boat at 3am with the bags, who knows what she's gonna do.
This season has been as much about Deb as it has been about Dexter and I think something huge is going to happen before this season is out involving Deb.

I have a feeling that someone is going to find out about Dex this year that he can't kill, or he could possibly get caught

I'm gonna be really sad to see this show end if season 6 is indeed the last. One of the best written shows on tv, possibly one of the best top 10 shows ever. I guess it is better for Dexter to go out on top.
