I was gifted this and wouldn't mind selling it. Opened it up once, and I am pretty sure this isn't something I will be able to convince my friends to play.
If you still need it after NYE, drop me a note.

What's the game where you can be team blue against team red where the"good guys" have to success the mission, while the "mole" can either fail or success the mission? Then you have to accuse the "bad guys"? That game was awesome.

Got a couple games for the family at Christmas.
Smash Up is good fun. Straightforward. The kids get it. Lots of 'take that.' Maybe a bit long.
7 Wonders Duel managed to excede my modest expectations. It compresses the original game (that I'm only lukewarm about) into a tense and clever two-player experience. I could see it becoming a regular event with the wife.

I got the Firefly board game for Christmas from the wife and I've had a blast with it so far. I'm biding my time before jumping into all the x-paks, but I'm definitely getting Pirates and Bounty Hunters next. Question is, should I get Kalidasa or Blue Sun?

We play with blue son and pirates, I recommend both, amazing game. Was 7-0 up until recently at this game at my boardgame night. Didn't know they had a 3rd expansion.

Thanked for Smash Up. A fun game that can be different every time.

Recently got Specter Ops and it's a lot of fun. We have only played the three and four player variants, but essentially one person plays as an agent who is trying to complete 3/4 objectives and escape the building. The other players are hunters who have to track down and kill the intruder. It's like Battleship, but really interactive and can get pretty tense, especially towards the end of the game

Just picked up dead of winter, initial start up was a bit daunting but once we got the hang of it the game is incredibly fun.

I'm a big fan of Blood Bowl Team Manager, but I have a hard time convincing non-blood bowl fans to try it.

I can only get my football friends to play it. I try to pitch it as a Smash Up alternative

Has anyone tried Blood Rage? https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/170216/blood-rage
One of the top games of last year. It looks really good, but the $100 CDN price tag is scaring me off at the moment.

401games.ca and greatboardgames.ca are also great places to grab games at cheaper prices. Both of those sites have Blood Rage for $70. The only catch is that if you want free shipping you have to spend $150/$200 respectively to qualify. They're both Canadian stores though so even if you end up paying for shipping it's less than $10.
My friends and I have been trying out a lot of new games recently. Some of the ones I've really enjoyed are Legendary Marvel, Xia: Legends of a Drift System, Risk Legacy and Fury of Dracula. We've played Star Wars Imperial Assault a few times as well but I am honestly not a fan of the dungeon master style of board game.
