Wow that was so long ago, yet i still remember the media talking about that.

Ralph Klein was a conservative of convenience. It suited him 10 years ago when he was fighting for his political life. After a brief dalliance with cost-cutting, Klein has again become the big-spending Liberal he always was. Worse, actually; if the Liberal party ever did get elected in Alberta, it would be on its best fiscal behaviour, knowing Albertans would be on guard. By calling himself a Conservative, Klein has been able to get away with spending increases that make Jean Chretien and Paul Martin look like Ernest Manning.

To be fair, a lot of Ralph's spending is replacing what he cut... which is what many Albertans wanted. Aside from that, I have been a bit disappointed in how Ralph has been spending money. In fact... I'm not even sure where all this money is going, aside from some going to the municipalities, and some promised relief for U of C and U of A.

Ralph should also be on Martin like white on rice for our share of equalization that we overpay, like Ontario. Since he is unwilling to lead Alberta, or spend efficiently, its time for a new leader. Or a very well behaved Liberal or Alliance party. Wow, did I just say Liberal? ... hopefully they'd change their name and colors first :P

Last time I checked calling someone a whore or prostitute doesn't consistute "making fun of them" as you put it. The Conservative supporters are not making fun of Stronach when they call her this, they are insulting and degrading her because they don't support the move.
