Yes, after a lackluster first episode, this season has progressed nicely in the second episode.

Oilfan, the next episode is tonight.
Solid episode last night, but I think the game would be better off with a player like Brian still in. But having said that, the show has got off to a great start because of this early backdoor. Great stuff.

I was thinking last night, and maybe we can implement this point system now since there hasn't been an eviction yet, but maybe we can bring a point system for how long the player stays in the game. I mean, isn't that what the point of the game is, to stay as long as you can.
Right now, we only give out points for winning Hoh and Pov and stuff like that. But for certain people, that's their strategy. Will, widely known as the best player did pretty well because he threw challenges to never put the target on his back. So let's say we have the same kind of player in this season, and you have him and he wins first.....since he didn't win any challanges, you wouldn't get any points......
So maybe
13th place....1 pt
12th place....2 pt
11th place....3 pt
.
.
.
.
.
1st place....13 points
I dunno, what do you all think??

I think with my picks, that's the only way I'm going to get points! So : heck yeah! I'm all for it. I think I'll be saying bye-bye to my Renny-pick next week (please!) Is it bad to despise one of your own picks? (is my whining pissing everyone off yet?)
A surprise: Michelle isn't as irritating as I thought she was going to be. Jessie is indeed a baby and needs to control his body language.... I swear if I saw one more eye-roll I was going to crawl through the TV and slap him.
The Ollie and "Janelle-wannabe" were a surprising couple. Have they showed her OCD yet?
I'm not trying to be racist whith my next statement: Never piss off a black woman! With all the hand waving going on (Oh no he DIDN'T!)when Libra heard about Brian; I thought someone was going to lose an eye!
You may want to keep an eye on Keesha... she's not as dumb as she looks! (no offense to Blondes, I am blonde.)
When Jerry started to spout off about Solomon, I had a flash back of the "Bible Buddies" from last year... Hopefully they didn't let them bring in bibles this year. Great if you're religious, but for me: a waste of air-time.

^^^Yep, it's way too early in the game to show who you are aligning with. Best thing to do is the first couple weeks is to keep a low profile, and eventually you make your moves. Of course, there exceptions to this rule, Evil Dick and hell even Ryan last season, but Ryan got lucky on that re-entry twist and E.D. got really lucky because of the America's player thing that kept him in the game.

Brian really was quite dumb, he had a good thing going but like many before him they get cocky and start to think they have things under control.
It still amazes me to see people make the same mistakes others made in previous 9 seasons, you'd think they would learn from those people and not duplicate them.

I can only imagine how much easier this game looks on TV than it is to actually be in the house. I give people the benefit of the doubt on this one. Having said that, yeah, there have been some absolute idiots to play that game.

All Brian had to do was keep his yap shut and not brag to everyone how Jerry was doing exactly what he said and how he was in control. Great, be in control, but shut your yap about it, what a ######, he deserves to go home.

But it's hard to be in control without giving off some of those vibes. At the end of the day, not one person is ever in total control of the house.

Oh definately, don't get me wrong I believe it would be quite hard to restrain many of the things we mock them for, living 24/7 with strangers with no contact to the outside world, etc.. Messes you up good I'm sure
Its just the obvious stuff, like knowing to stay under the radar, don't get in conflict on the first freakin day, etc.. lol

I've sometimes wondered whether I would balloon up like June or get all buff trying to buddy up with the meat heads lifting weights in the yard. Probably balloon up.

Man, April is getting annoying real fast. I used to like her.
At this point:
I like Memphis, Jessie, Steven, Angie, Ollie, Jerry and Keesha and Dan.
I can't stand Libra, Michelle, April and Renny.

Yeah, I'm all for that, as long as it's in addition to our current scoring system. I don't think it's too late to make a change like that, and I think your point is absolutely correct- some of the best BB "game-players" aren't the ones that dominate competitions.
