I think he is the 2nd best but have no issue at all with people thinking he is the best because it is close. I think Dan from season 10 was the best ever. That replacement nominee roulette episode might be my favorite episode ever.
Dan (won season 10)
Dr. Will (won season 2, 4th in season 7)
Janelle (3rd in season 6, 3rd in season 7)
Dick (won season 8, had to leave season 13 for personal reasons)
I think those are the 4 best players ever (different list then my favorite BB players ever which would include Jeff, Memphis, Lane and Britney on it somewhere on top of Janelle, Dan and Dr. Will)

But if it wasn't for America's player, Dyck wouldn't have come close to winning his season.
I think he's overrated

ya I agree, don't think he's up there at all with Will and Dan
his win was the most 'helped' of any
my ranking would go
Will clear #1
Dan
Hayden
I think most of the brigade was really overrated and thought way too highly of themselves but Hayden had everyone fawning over him, he was a great liar
Janelle was good in comps but she wasn't great socially

I think a good one one would b to get all the winners back in the house. See which one is the best.

Bonehead move on Porsche's part even if she didn't know it was going to be duos for veto. It could just have easily been Jeff returning or her losing HOH power's or something else.
Yeah, Jordan and Rachel cry.......but Kalia and Shelly cry just as much.
And Shelly voting Jeff out wasn't very smart for her game play. No question Jeff was a strong player and she would have to get him out to win, but she did it too soon. She had a final 3 deal with them that Jeff/Jordan were going to honor (they said so behind closed doors on the live feeds). Shelly looked stupid on today's show when she had nothing to say and even Adam called her out on things. Porsche/Kalia don't care at all about Shelly. They are using her for a vote. Porsche/Kalia don't care if Adam gets with them to the final 3 or if Shelly does. Kalia told Adam that the final 3 will be Kalia, Porsche and Adam. Hope it was worth it Shelly......cause you ain't lasting long.
Oh and in terms of edits.......they never showed Shelly saying she wishes she could punch Rachel in the stomach if she is indeed pregnant so she doesn't have the baby (should have been on today's show but I guess they aren't showing it). Great example for Josie there. Wonder what she will think of that when she hears that come out of your mouth.
But all in all like I said a few days ago, I wish Brendon/Danielle/Jeff could all be back and they could kick out 3 of the remaining players.
|
Pandora's Box has been opened every time it's been in the game. It's easy to go online and say "she has to resist the temptation", but every player it's been offered to has done it. And from what I've read, Porsche was saying all that day that they were setting up Pandora's Box and that if it was offered to her she wouldn't open it...and then she goes and opens it for $5000. Smells like production persuading her to open it to me...
And I don't see how a final 3 deal with Jeff and Jordan is at all beneficial to Shelly. So you get the final 3 with two people you outright know are going to choose the other for the final 2. And this is someone who's struggled with competitions all year going against someone who is pretty good (but not great) at competitions in Jeff. Either way, saying it's a bad move because Jeff/Jordan said it behind closed doors is irrelevant. You can't judge any strategy with the complete omnipotence of the cam feeds - you judge it based off of the information people have on hand themselves.
This season hasn't been much different than many others in terms of strong/weak players it's just that the "strong" players are really mediocre in the end. Brendon/Rachel are great at competitions, but have zero interest/ability in playing the other side of the game and are always targets. Jeff is mediocre at everything - he would've been out early his first season if production didn't hand him the ridiculous coup d'etat and he went into this season with an instant alliance and an automatic vote/ally on his side in Jordan. Danielle is decent at everything, but isn't great at anything either. If there were people who were actually good as the veterans they would've cruised to the final 6 and made for an interesting final few weeks. Instead all the veterans blew each other up and it's useless players like Jordan and Adam left.

But of course production comes to the rescue with a conveniently timed twist to give the fan favorites a chance. I'm surprised Pandora's Box wasn't just putting Big ###### Jeff back in the house with HOH power until the final 2.

It has become pretty clear, at least in my house that CBS has paved the way for whinning Rachel to get every assistance to make it to the final. Everytime it seems she is going home. CBS has adjusted BB. Just because it is called reality TV. CBS can do whatever they want and we really don't know what these peoples contracts contain. Just saying. This season has been even more about keeping certain BB players around for the ratings. Having past contestants has opened up much critisism.
Rachel in her dellusional world saying this game is just like her in this house playing with a bunch of snakes. She is loony tunes she is the Queen Snake and has been from day1.

I don't care for her at all, but if she were to lose the veto competition this week she would be gone. How do you think that CBS would stop that from taking place?

Well now she has two chances. If the POV is an individual competition, if she or Jordan wins, she is off the block

Horrible analogy. Russell kicked ass at Survivor only to lose at the end because of how badly he dominated the idiots he was playing with.
Evel Dick got the advantage of an amazing edit on the broadcast shows (who else on BB has had their own guitar riff whenever they'd show up on screen?) that encouraged America's Player to help him out when otherwise he'd have been gone long before he got to the end. And having America's Player help him out allowed his repulsive intimidation antics to work. He should have been thrown out of the house for how he acted.

http://www.realityblurred.com/realit..._cast_contract
Here's an article from earlier this summer about the contract and a copy of the contract itself. The producers can change or amend the rules at any time without notice. In particular, read clause 4 beginning at the bottom of page 4.
And clause 43 goes into detail about how it is not only against the rules to agree to share a prize with a fellow contestant but it is a federal offence.
Also worth noting, according to clause 51, should Big Brother decide to make a tv movie about the life of house guests and broadcast it in primetime on Rigel 7, they have the exclusive right to do so forever (i.e., the clause grants rights "in perpetuity throughout the universe").

Same thing with Kalia and Porsche. They have a final 2 deal and Shelly knew that too.
Russell and Lydia were the nominees when he got it and they were already down to the final 9 (the jury). So Lydia would have left and then there would have been 8 left. Jeff got 5th place in that game. He might have gotten 6th or 7th but hard to say who would have won the next HOH (would have been Jessie/Natalie/Kevin vs Jeff/Russell/Jordan/Michelle).

makes sense and is the same for all types of returning contestants on big brother, survivor, amazing race etc.
