Whoever did that 80's intro did a great job. Did anyone else sing along with it?

Just finished reading all of the comics today. Can't wait to see where they go with the TV show. There's so much they could incorporate depending on how long they want to stretch the series out.

Are the Female characters as annoying in the comics as they are in the actual show?
I really want to kill Laurie.

Spoiler-ish (recently re-read the comics, but I won't go past the timeline of the show)

Has anyone read War World Z yet?
I picked it up because I need to start reading more (got too used to smartphone, laptop, psp, gameboy, and other futuristic handheld devices we have).
I heard very good things about this book, I am half way through after a couple sit downs and am not very entertained yet. It is unique in storytelling style but not getting the imagination turning.
I may look into the Fables graphic novels/comics when done uni

Yeah, I loved World War Z. I couldn't make it through the Zombie Survival Guide though.

World War Z was pretty good.
What was really amazing about it though was the audio book version.
It had a full cast including Henry Rollins, Allen Alda, John Turturro and Mark Hamill.
It was an abridged version, so the book is still worth a read to fill in some of the blanks, but the whole cast does a great job.

Anyone played the walking dead video game? I just downloaded the demo from the playstation store and it was pretty good. I guess it follows the books more than the show. It is a different type of game but was still pretty cool. It looks like there are different series you can buy or a seasons pass.

I have only played the demo, I would like to hear if the full game is worth the money.

It's only like $5 since they are selling it in episodes, $5/episode and there are 5 episodes.

Shouldn't take too long, maybe an hour?
I thought it was pretty well done, mechanics were simple but worked pretty well. If you like the comic you will probably like the game, it was like playing a choose your own adventure.

so i picked up the Walking Dead compendium, and have caught up to where they are in the TV series (just found the prison). and while there are a couple of things i prefer from the graphic novel, i was surprised at how much i liked all the changes they did for the series. the extra time spent in Atlanta at the start, going to the CDC instead of some random suburb, the whole farm plot was better executed in the series (if a bit drawn out), Sofia was a dark twist for the series compared to the book, and Shane. his story and decent into madness was executed far better in the series than the book, in the book you barely get to know him before Carl blows him away at the camp just outside of Atlanta. the series explains his motivations much more clearly and having him involved with the zombie barn worked out a lot better
i didn't realize just how much the series had strayed from the book, but i have to say almost every one of the changes they've made i totally agree with. really looking forward to seeing what they do with season 3 now

I think they are supposed to come out once every month? Though I'm not too sure how accurate that is since there was no time line on the games website.

I was browsing through XBL Arcade this weekend and came across the game. I had seen the trailers a few months back, but didn't realize it was already released. I could have sworn looking at it yesterday and seeing that episodes 1-3 were available for download. I'll peek around here a bit longer and check out some online reviews before I buy these though.
