Okay, so I've got a client of more or less the same build as Jessie who has agreed to participate in an experiment. I've got a hatchet here....hey does anyone have any of that clear plastic poly tarp I could borrow?

I do, as long as you can clean it and get it back to me by tomorrow. I have a date and I'm going to be needing it.

Well if you're just going to use it the next day why do I have to clean it?

It's a first date; I need to make a good impression! What kind of animal do you take me for?
... Alright this is getting out of hand.

WD has killed characters like Tyrese, Bob, Shane, etc.. While GoT makes characters like Danaerys invincible.

Tyrese wasn't even that interesting a character. Maybe he was bigger in the comics. I really can't think of a character I thought of as main dying. Probably Shane, I'll give you that one, but they were also building up to his death for a while. So, you kinda felt it coming. Him and Rick were entering a situation where one had to go.
Bob, was fun, but I wouldn't call him a big character either.
I felt kinda bad seeing Dale die, but I think I'm alone on that one. Hershel too, but again, you knew he was going.
I'd completely disagree with your premise. The deaths in GoT have been far more surprising, and purposeful. They've added to the overall pot while deaths in TWD just kinda happen for no reason often, and don't have much effect afterwards either. Lastly, they don't seem to have any more 'must live characters' than TWD. I'll give you Daenarys and Tyrion. Is there really anyone else? They already killed a few I thought were must lives. TWD has Rick, Carol, Glenn, Daryl, Carl (Judith for some reason...). Though to be fair, I think one of those might go soon, and one just got winged for an eye.
Both shows, have a few 'invincible' characters. But TWD does appear to have a few more, contrary to your post. Also, the deaths in GoT have been more meaningful, painful (to the viewer), and purposeful. Anyone remember Beth dying? What was the point of that? Really felt like an 'oh we need a death to shake things up and get the viewers talking' moment.

I thought it was a decent episode but the one thing that really bugged me was how in the first scene they are walking through Alexandria and it's day time and suddenly in the next scene they are still walking but it's apparently the middle of the night now. Even my wife who loves the show and doesn't think they can do any wrong said to me "how big is the town that they have been apparently walking for hours"
I mean I understand you ramp up the tension with a night battle but come on.

I'll confess to having been a mite hazy on the details.

If people wouldn't mind not giving out game of thrones spoilers in a thread that's not even dedicated to game of thrones that would be fantastic. Some of us are deliberately not "caught up" on the show.
That being said, I definitely considered all of Dale, Tyrese and Herschel to be major characters. Same with Beth. I'm also having deja vu as I think we had this conversation like 20 pages ago.

I'd agree. Tyreese and Beth maybe less so, but Herschel and Dale definitely.

I thought Andrea was a pretty major character at the time of her death in season 3. It seems she's been completely forgotten about so maybe I'm wrong though. lol.

No, Andrea definitely was, everyone just hated her. TV Andrea was lame. I'm not sure if people were cheering for her death more or Lori's.

Yes, but they hadn't gone that far. They were still inside the wall, near the houses.

Shane, Herschel, Dale, Merle, Andrea and Lori were all major characters to bite it IMO

Oh man, another awesome episode. Great to see them do a time jump, and more character development after the action filled episodes before this one. Happy to see Paul (A.K.A Jesus) finally introduced into this series. As he said in next week's teaser...Your world is about to get a lot bigger!

Wow that episode was bad. I found myself wishing Carl was killed last
Episode to spare us his devastating 'acting'. And why on earth would they leave their car and both go in the truck? Wouldn't one person drive each? I don't like to nitpick this show too much but that was just totally baffling. How did Jesus get out of those knots in like ten seconds and get on the roof before they drove away? Without them noticing? I'm assuming that's what happened there.
Blah -- just messy, bad acting, time and logic jumps... That was a bad one.

Overall a decent episode, but ya, how did Jesus get on the roof? Also, most painful line by Dianna's son... "now you know why I am out here". Heh. Ya, no ####. We really didn't need that vocalized.
I enjoyed it more than the previous one as it moved a lot of story forward. The weirdness of how it started with Michone and Rick only made sense at the end. That could have bene better developed over a few episodes.

How did he get out of the cell they put him in, past Darryl (who Rick mentioned was keeping an eye on him) into their house and into their bedroom without anyone seeing or hearing him?
I think that's the point. He's apparently a slippery fellow.
