That's it!? Hilarious. I thought those were just previews for some kind of web series. How ridiculous.

Yeah, those are really short, even for webisodes.
At least the ones they had for the first three seasons of The Walking Dead had some length to them.

This is a major part of World War Z. There are a number of problems associated with that strategy, not the least of which is that without civilization or learning the skills needed to do so, it's actually pretty damned hard for a bunch of fleeing people used to warmer climates and suburban lifestyles to survive collectively in the freezing north.
If you don't want to read the book, you should listen to the audiobook, which is one of the best audio books I've ever heard, as there are different voice actors reading different parts. It's on youtube.

A good book, I think I will re-read it.

Yeah, I wasn't really feeling it either. The Alexandria c-listers are almost unbearably hard to watch. The fight that Carl had with that other kid was funny too. It looked like Carl wanted to hit him with his purse.

There are a number of strategies you could use on to deal with mindless opponents who aimlessly walk towards you. The walkers have been shown to walk into sharp sticks.
You could modify farm equipment to turn it into some kind of zombie thresher. You could build a giant pit around your habitation. You could just drive over them in some kind of tractor.
I honestly don't think a zombie apocalypse would be that hard to deal with, with the slow moving type zombies. They'd be just like fighting real people, except already half dead and incapable of any kind of self-preservation, weapon use, or strategy.

I thought about that. I wonder if Carl had to hold back; for the last few years any time he has had to fight, it was a fight to the death. He has never really learned the "schoolyard rules" of fighting.

I dunno, Ron was an abused kid so he probably could hold his own.

So I just watched Episode 1, I thought that cool zombie crawling around in the park with its guts hanging out was pretty cool.
Is this thread the place for me?

Watch the first season of webisodes and you can see how that half zombie came to be.

Captain Janeway/Turtle Face might be the worst character in show history.

I can't imagine she'll be around much longer. Or at least she'll have to relinquish command. She has no clue what she's doing.

I find it almost comic relief how terrible the Alexandrians are at everything. Not only are they completely helpless when fighting (although it was cute how the one guy held his fists up like he was going to duke it out with a walker), but after being cut off for like a day, they immediately just give up and raid the food storage. They also all make terrible decisions in the field that usually get others killed. They all deserve to die really. If Rick had any brains, he would throw them all over the walls.

Its interesting stuff. I also learned that Kevin Spacey has/had a ranch near Medicine Hat? Although that information is dated now.

Aw man, that seems like a lot of work. Is it explained in the show or can I go through life in blissfull ignorance? I mean, it seemed like there was a reason he had to go back and kill that one specific zombie.
