Andreas speech was painful and when it ended everyone was smiling and nodding and saying yeah, yeah, and then hugging and going off on their merry ways was super annoying.
Rick being crazy is also annoying. Unless he goes really nuts and Carl takes him out, I hope they drop it.
Having said that, I will continue to watch the show.

There is a clip featuring Merle and Daryl in the following link, about a minute and a half long. Might be a spoiler for next weeks episode, not really sure. But it definitely hints at what direction these two are going to be going.
Spoiler tags for last warning.

The only time Rick can be semi-sane is when he isn't thinking about Lori, he kept it together pretty well through the seige on Woodbury.
Also Rick hasn't slept/eaten much himself, he has tried to consume himself with clearing the prison or anything to stay busy. His head isn't right and lack of sleep/food is adding to it I'm sure.

Fixed...??!!!
Anyway I'm surprised how many people found the episode boring. At no point was I bored watching the episode. Andreas speech was certainly some kind of terrible, but there was some pretty good moments in the show. Merle getting punched out after calling everyone p*s. Governor owning that Woodbury guy and just walking off. Glenn-stomp. And I actually liked Rick going crazy. Why wouldn't he? Zombie PTSD!!

Actually I thought the same thing. Keep in mind the only person alive right now who knows there is a 50/50 chance that Shane is the father is Rick. So when Beth says "She has Lori's eyes", Rick could take that one of 3 ways:
- That the baby does really have Lori's eyes.
- The baby doesn't have your eyes; Rick.
- The baby looks nothing like you, the only resemblance I can see is with Lori.
Even if somebody else might know of Lori's affair, I sure don't think it would have been shared with a 17 year old kid.

It wasn't an affair in the strict sense, though I agree that the question of who is the father shouldn't necessarily be shared for kicks and giggles with Beth. Still, I am not really sure that Shane and Lori's relationship wasn't common knowledge amongst the original group, which now only would have been Darryl and Glen, and Carole. So, out of them they might be able to draw the conclusion that Lori was 2 months pregnant, and Rick just arrived a month ago.

We then saw Tyrese and the girl put a quick end to that plan.
Seems to me we learened a lot about them just from that.
We saw Rick relapse into crazy (kind of a big deal).
We saw Andrea decide to stay in Woodbury even though she knows the governor is crazy, that's a pretty important develpment.
And we saw Darryl pick his brother over the group, something just about everyone figured would go the other way.
So yeah, I'd say they showed us a lot about a lot of the characters.

hmmm lets see.
Tyrese and his 2 whiteboys. 45 seconds
Rick going crazy. 35 seconds
Not sure how Andrea going all Tony Robbins is character building. In fact it's out of character.
Darryl picking Merrill 135 seconds.
What happened to the other 42 minutes? Sure Herschel played the good old father type, but we already knew what he was all about.

My interpretation of the events was that it wasn't 100% clear who was the father; in that she got pregnant right around the time that Rick returned. So we had the scene where Shane and her were in the woods, and then 2 days later Rick comes back.
It also brings up the question of the nature of the relationship she had with Shane. The sneaking off into the woods seemed to indicate they may have been trying to appear to be "just friends"- especially with Carl right there.
I will agree that it wasn't really an "affair"- but that word fits best.

Also not only was the Andrea speech grating what the hell was up with her and the injured guy.
Guy gets 5 course mealed by a zombie and she's like "won't anyone help him?" like it was DAY 1. hahahahaha completely ridiculous
A normal Andrea would have instantly shot him in the head. Did the writers go full ###### over the break?

Andrea wasn't the one that said "won't anyone help him?", that was the lady that was standing next to her.
She was holding back from shooting the guy in the head in front of the whole town. IIRC correctly the town (outside of a select few) still are unaware that the infection turns you once you die and you don't have to be bitten.

There was no break for the writers, this was all in the can last summer.
But yeah, I was wondering why she didn't just shoot him.
I think the next episode will be great. I think this one was just a story builder getting ready for what is going to happen next week.

The guy was bitten though... What would not shooting him, and allowing him to turn into a walker prove?

The simple towns folk are ignorant to what happens and are living some sheltered fantasy life. She knows what needs to be done and would probably do it behind closed doors under the guise of helping him, so as not to traumatize the locals.
The way it was handled by the Governor was what she was upset about...not that it was done.

I hope Merle joins the group eventually. I like the dynamic he adds.
So-so episode for me too. It will be a glorious scene when Andrea dies. Same with Michone. I thought the writers kinda of took the easy way out of the Darryl/Merle fight to the death. There was a lot more they could do with that, and I have a hard time believing the Governor would allow Woodbury to have such weak walls, considering the shape the town is in.

Like a few here I thought the writers got lazy with the Merle/Darryl fight. Why even include the scene at all if they just do what they did? Just for the mid season finale build, that's why. Also why does Merle beat on Darryl just to go back to back with him and punch some zombies. Makes no sense. It doesn't change their situation, why beat him up? Would have made sense if he fooled everyone somehow or used it to bring the Governor into the fight but meh. And why doesn't the Governor just shoo them both when they team up. The whole scene was a mess. Not too mention it was another surprise save by the prison group.
Rest of the show was ok, but a little slow. Would feel much different about that had the beginning been really cool, or even just made some sense, but altogether it seemed to show the episode missed it's mark.
That being said I'll be watching it for a while yet, last time I was about to drop it they had the big barn scene which was amazing, so I believe there is still some great episodes to come.
