At least the baby gives Hershalls other daughter a chance to actually be involved in the story now. I think that is the most lines in an episode for her .. ever.

She's damaged goods, she trusted Andrea and look where that got her. She simply isn't letting her guard down for anyone now which is why she isn't giving Rick any info.
Rick is pretty much like Michonne but he deals with it in a different way. He said it himself when he was explaining why Tyreese's group can't stay. He doesn't want to let his guard down for anyone ever since Thomas pulled that stuff with him.
No sure what everyone's issue is with Rick being crazy, he is trying to come to grips with his wife's death that he feels responsible for. Seeing his baby and the baby having eye's like Lori pushes him over into the deep end again. The only time Rick can be semi-sane is when he isn't thinking about Lori, he kept it together pretty well through the seige on Woodbury.
Also Rick hasn't slept/eaten much himself, he has tried to consume himself with clearing the prison or anything to stay busy. His head isn't right and lack of sleep/food is adding to it I'm sure.

Did the governor actually rape Maggie? They never showed it but I thought he just scared her. The way her and Glenn are acting implies a lot more happened.
Crazy Rick is too much.
Mute Michonne is annoying.
Daryl is the only solid character left and he bailed.

I think this is what they are trying to get us to believe.
Likely didn't want to cross that line by showing it but are now willing to just act like it happened.

Sure seems like people are looking for reasons to be negative about this show. Seems like a lot of whining to me. This show is still night and day better than 95% of the formulated crap on prime time television IMO.

Nope. It was just complete overacting by him.
The show was pretty hard to watch last nite.
It's definitely jumping the shark.

LOL...no it's not. It is developing the characters instead of just violence and killing zombies.

No, it was boring. As far as a 1 hour drama goes I felt like I was watching Lost.

In the 45 minutes yesterday what character did they build up? Tyrese? his daughter?
Too many annoying characters and bad acting at this point.

Why do you watch it then if you believe that? The acting has never been amazing, but it certainly is not boring at any point IMO.

Last night's episode was a little disappointing, but it was more because people were expecting a huge episode for the mid-season premier.
The episode was good in terms of character development but felt more like a mid-season episode and didn't have the drama you expect of a premier.

I am a fan of the comics and have enjoyed 90% of the show. Every series gets a bad episode, but that doesn't mean I don't get to comment on it. I was expecting more out of the hype built up from a mid season premiere. I am sure the series will still be entertaining. But for the time being I will rag on it, because that is what we people on the internet do, we rag on stuff. Have you ever visited the Flames forum?
I was also under the impression that was his daughter.. when/where did he say otherwise?

Of course. I just think that people were expecting too much quite frankly. I didn't think this was a bad episode. Opinions are what they are, but I think that people just like to find something to complain about.

Are you serious?
Let's see, we saw the two white guys with Tyrese start to show their true colours and plan how to take out a kid and woman to take over the prison.
We then saw Tyrese and the girl put a quick end to that plan.
Seems to me we learened a lot about them just from that.
We saw Rick relapse into crazy (kind of a big deal).
We saw Andrea decide to stay in Woodbury even though she knows the governor is crazy, that's a pretty important develpment.
And we saw Darryl pick his brother over the group, something just about everyone figured would go the other way.
So yeah, I'd say they showed us a lot about a lot of the characters.

Andrea has to be one of the dumbest characters ever in the history of television. That is all.
Oh and that inspirational speech.. Yeesh!

Yeah it wasn't such a great episode last night... Kinda boring. I think everyone is sick of Michonne just standing around moping, and Andrea and the whole Woodbury story is just annoying at this point. Now even Rick is starting to be less cool, and one of the more interesting characters is gone. I assume Daryl/Merle will be back, but still, pretty disappointing episode.
