I would be more worried about the half brother/half sister thing created by a cheating parent. What if I accidentally knocked up the half sister I never knew I had. uggg, We'd have to move to Edmonton to raise our little inbred child.

Becoming pregnant is a responsiblity, not a right. If a woman becomes pregnant due to her sleeping around she bears the full responsiblitiy of her actions. Neither her duped partner nor the state should be forced to bear the financial burdens of her bad choices. This is the difference between being a child and being an adult. As an adult I have never "knocked up" any lady because I've been responsible by wearing condoms and limiting my sexual partners to those I care for and trust. If my partner tells me she is pregnant I would absolutely get a paternity test. If this upsets her, then she is not a person I would want to have a relationship with.

Bahahahahaha! That's gold Jerry.

So it's the woman's full responsibility if she gets knocked up while cheating, BUT, you've made the responsible decision to always wear condoms. Wouldn't that mean you're taking responsibility too? What if the condom breaks?

Seriously.

I think what he's getting at. No duped guy should be on the hook for child support if she got knocked up screwing around. His part about condoms doesnt really have any relevance.

Yeah, I think he meant that in the context of the married/partnered couple, the woman should bear the responsibility if she gets knocked up through extra-curricular copulation.

Part of her responsibility of course, would be to make sure that the biological father was informed and lived up to his end as well.

He can run.

She can't.

God, in his almighty wisdom, has made his ruling.
