This site should help answer the question once and for all

http://www.howmanyfiveyearoldscouldyoutakeinafight.com/

It's been really busy so I don't know how many yet. The guy who sent it to me is rated for 26.

Arm me with a cup, shave my head, and I'll take down...50?

If you're not smart, by simple math, an average 5 year old is what? 50 lbs? I think I can only bench ~125 lbs at max so if a bunch of them pile up, there's not much I can do. But I have had some martial arts and can kick pretty well...but unless I can kick them all in the heads before they get in range they would just knock my legs out from under me and pile on... kids are pretty good at diving.

The best tactic is the rope-a-dope by Muhummad Ali. Just start running in a circle and let them chase and punch you until they wear out. Then you pick them off one by one with swift kicks to the head or strong body blows that break ribs. Conversely, grab one kid, swing him around, and toss him into the others to break up a crowd. If they manage to pin you, choke them one by one or do some palm strikes to break their noses. 5 year olds hate nosebleeds. In the worst situation, grab one and twist his arm to dislocation as a hostage to get the others to back off so you can catch your breath. You know how much you hated it when you were 5 and your "friend" twisted your arm behind your back.

^^^Thats hilarious, I love how much strategy is involved....

I'm so glad this thread is back.

I scored 26, although I'd say 30 is closer.

If I'm rushed by 5 years olds, I tell them that I heard that their parents were killed by Ninja's, then while they're crying, I pull out my can of mace and blind the little s, then I start the wedgie brigade.

I'm probably good for about 20. 6 or 7 would be able to immedietley surround you and start going for the knees and your junk. You'd have to work fast before they glom onto you and haul you down. If they used the dogpile technique, your done in a matter of seconds.

By far, this is some of the funniest stuff I have read in awhile

I didn't read all 6 pages so I can't say for certain that these points of strategy have been brought up:

It clearly states in the rules that all combatants get a cup. On the plus side I'd be protected for a lot longer of a time, but on the down side I'd also be denied the easiest one-shot take down.

Personally i'd be more concerned with biters. 5 year olds can bite baby. I wouldn't be nearly as concerned with the 4 or 5 surrounding me as I would be with the 3 or 4 below them biting my legs.

Not a tall guy, but I'm pretty sure the height disadvantage would open them up for plenty of blows reigning down from above. To me a good hard shot to the top of the head would either render them unconscious or at the very least too stunned to deal.

I would barricade myself in a corner and let them come at me 300 style.

I actually think after 10 successful take-outs I'd be pretty tired. When it was all said and done I'd be impressed to get 20-25.

I am so glad this was resurrected.

I need to check out the link at home, and read all the new rules that I didn't know about before. I think it might cause trouble if I look at that while at work.

But I forget how many I said before, but you could probably take a whole classroom down. So say, 30? At least. Are weapons allowed at all? I'll check the rules and get back!

They gave me credit for thirty. 5 year old kids are such pansies (the word i want to use means kitties, but I'm not sure how that language would be accepted)

I'm looking at 25 myself.

I've become inspired to become an elementary teacher now...

27...sweeet...I still think I could take more of the little brats. Gotta work on my cardio. On the bright side...it would take me back to the days of trying out all the wrestling moves I saw on TV on my little brother and younger cousins

Just keep a huge poster from that website behind you

"Dr. Gonzo can slaughter 25, 5 year olds."

-Now kid, look around the room, notice only 23 of you. Now, think carefully before you throw that paper airplane. Real carefully. Do you want to take that chance?

Everytime a kid steps out of line:

"Dont make me tap the sign."

32 here. Some of the questions were great... especially the morality based ones.
