I disagree, but okay, whatever, no one has to do it I was just suggesting that it would be nice if they did.

Are you, at this point, just being a jerk for no reason?

I don't understand why a simple suggestion like this has to offend people or provoke snide responses, particularly when the first post explicitly said that it was recognized that no one was obliged to do anything of the sort and it would just be helpful.

Just go download a bunch and check em out, it's not rocket science.
Or maybe it is, if this is your first smartphone.

I normally use Quick Office but now Microsoft Office Mobile is completely free on Android and IOS, no 360 subscription required anymore.

And for the select few...

Description
Microsoft Office Mobile is the official Office companion optimized for your Android phone. You can access, view and edit your Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint documents from virtually anywhere. Documents look like the originals, thanks to support for charts, animations, SmartArt graphics and shapes. When you make quick edits or add comments to a document, the formatting and content remain intact.

Took Microsoft long enough to get their act together with the mobile Office app.

I'll give that one a try. I use Yatse for a XBMC but nothing for the actual PC.

Anyone here played Fiz?

Its a fantastic brewery management game available via the Google Store. It's quite lengthy and very addicting. I didn't put it down until I finished it, which took a very long time.

Just when I thought TSN had their Android app finally figured out it has been sending random push notifications even though I have that setting turned off. Back to theScore app I guess.

Yeah, I did the same.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a Chinese Mahjong app? Not the solitaire variety, but the actually 4 person game.
Tried searching the play store and it was mostly the solitaire kind.

I know I'm preaching to the choir but just noticed MightyText put in an update to be able to text while in Facebook.

It's little things like this which make Android so difficult to move away from.

Next Browser.

I use Chrome on computer/laptop, but on my Nexus 7 it seems to drain it's battery super fast. Like I'm browsing and I notice the battery decreasing 1% every 5min (wasn't due to sync either, everything was off).

Then I searched around and found Next Browser. It has a really simple interface that reminds me of Chrome. The way it handles tabs is akin to iOS multitasking, way better than Chrome imo. Has all the qwerks and functions as the others, and no more battery drains for me!

Give it try if you're looking for a new non-Google browser:
