Haven't noticed any lag at all on my phone. Does Swype allow you to change the size of the keys and define how much space between the keys? Change the colour and font?
I love the customizing on Kii. That's what makes it awesome. Perfect for my fat fingers. I make way less mistakes with Kii.

The lag very well could be the ROM, haven't had much luck with 4.2.1 ROMs these days. Some stuff seems to work better than others for no apparent reason.
There is no size customization for the keys and for colour is is just preset skins to choose from. I just find the swype predictions and word recognition to be better. probably just used to it more and built up the library. I haven't paid for the premium version of Kii so I haven't played with fonts and colours.

Swype is definitely tops when it comes to alternative prediction, SwiftKey still is still one of my favorites for predictions in general. Kii has potential to rival SwiftKey.

I've had Kii for a couple of months if not more and I have never tried to set the premium features, perhaps I shall play with it again.

Swiftkey is great I just got used to gesture typing and Swiftkey Flow just didn't feel right for me. I still try it every now and then same as Kii but end up on Swype.
I tried a keyboard that allowed you to swipe with two fingers (thumbs) that was really cool but I couldn't spell the words in my head a type at the same time. Kept getting confused or my thumbs would move to fast....

I was suffering through the same issues. SuperNexus was horrific. Have switched to CM 10.1 and have been really happy.
Got way better battery life with ICS though.

I do like CM10.1 the best as they just seem to "work". I was on Slim for awhile and Xylon right now but they are not very smooth and have a few hang ups every now and then. I was trying to patiently wait for 4.2.2 but my crack flashing habits always creep up.
About to try a CM kang to see how it runs.

Had an idea!

Swiftkey is good at predictions, but other than that it isn't much different than the stock AOSP keyboard.
I had issues with SwiftKey and temporarily removed it, and I have no reason to go back.

I would really like to know if there is a way in Swiftkey to replace the entire word that is spelled incorrectly rather than insert the corrected word wherever the cursor is sitting.

Unfortunately not, and that's one place I wish Swiftkey had from Swype...

Anyone know if there's an app that uses google voice so I can use my wifi/data to make long distance calls?
I have an iPhone and I have an app called GVphone and it allows me to call using my phone through google voice. Looking for a similar app for android but I can't find anything. Anyone know?

aCalendar (and it's widget) are proving to be a seriously awesome calendar. Best calendar for my office going needs since my BlackBerry days. (vs my experience with iOS and Stock Android)

Wow, thanks for this. I've used Jorte, Business calender and the SPlanner but this has already blown me away. You can tell this was built with touchscreen navigation as the core.

What is really love is a way to create a calendar event from an email. Often I get emails I have to action on in the future (eg. Inventory day, conference calls, meeting, etc). I hate having to exit the mail and create from scratch when the email contains the info. Anything like that exist?

Is that better or worse than a 'fat kid on cake'?
