racist comments got me banned...was more trying to get a rise out of you guys since you were jumping all over me but the N-word comment was way out of line and likely not taken how I intended it. Joking about a babies death the day it happened is on another level though...I deserved my ban but surely these "jokers" do aswell

It finally occured to me the absolute #1 issue I have living in Airdrie for 24 years......
Our roads are complete Sh*t, I thought to myself for the longest time with a few of the projects that winter or the weather was to blame for the poor finish on most of our roads.....nope....we just don't care when a contractor does a terrible job...
I'm looking at you Northern overpass!....

Lol..
Yes charging a toll for everyone entering the city of Calgary is clearly the solution. Guess I'll take stoney trail around, to enter the city since it is owned by the province.

A girl I work with lives in airdrie. She is coming into Calgary this weekend to party at the back alley. This airdrie hardly seems like a proper place to live if you need to come into Calgary to get the back alley.....

The 30km/h sidestreets. Ridiculous. I think I'm the only one that actually follows this. This is the only reason I refuse to live in Airdrie.

The only sensible answer is to build a wall around Airdrie. I haven't been there in a few years, but if this thread is any indication it's basically Nazi Germany, Mordor and East Hastings all rolled into one.

And to think that's only 10-20 minutes away from the downtown core! Scary!

I thought we determined it was 20 minutes just to reach Country Hills Blv on a clear normal day. Heaven help you if you want to go to the downtown core.

Murder investigation underway in Airdrie 0
BY DAVE DORMER ,CALGARY SUN
FIRST POSTED: FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 2012 10:53 PM MST
Airdrie police are investigating an apparent murder after a woman was found dead in a home there Friday.
Emergency crews were called to the home in the southwest part of Airdrie — 30 km north of Calgary — said Sgt. Tim Taniguchi, where they found an adult woman dead.
Major crimes investigators have been called in from Calgary, he said, and no information on the circumstances of the woman’s death was available.

Why is Calgary's Major Crimes unit going to Airdrie? Shouldnt that be their problem for their own police?
