Watching his show 'once' does not qualify as knowing what is going on.

That makes you sound really fair and open minded.

One's a lie.
The other is very intriguing. Since it's free you could just block it, simply ignore it...but you have to call and have it removed? Why?
Thanks for admitting that you don't know what you're talking about in regard to O'Reilly and his removal of all negative republican information from his shows.

Please just stop! How am I lying? I never said that I was a regular viewer of the O'Reilly Factor. I watched the O'Reilly Factor a couple times when Shaw Cable was offering free previews of new channels. When the free preview ended, I phoned up Shaw and told them to discontinue Fox News Channel. As far as O'Reilly's censorship of negative news about Republicans goes, I know this happens. Even though the film "Out Foxed" is slanted, they did produce proof of O'Reilly covering up negative information by obtaining an internal Fox News memo. Besides, when I watched the O'Reilly factor, the focus was on how bad the Democrats are. In fact, he brought up an old Bill Clinton story. This was all an attempt by O'Reilly to hide the multiple scandals in the G.W. Bush administration.

You said you had watched him enough to know when clearly your description of his attitudes was largely inaccurate.
You haven't watched/listened to him enough to know what you claimed to know. You know it, because the film you mentioned told you it was that way.
It's pretty obvious.

Go ahead, put me in jail for having an opinion. What am I supposed to do? March in to Fox News headquarters in New York and watch archives of the O'Reilly Factor so I can have an opinion. I have seen enough of O'Reilly to know that Democrats are his main target. The only people at Fox News with any spine are Chris Wallace and Alan Colmes. Wallace actually asks tough questions of Conservatives like when he interviewed Darth Cheney a week ago. Colmes is a logically minded person who gets treated like a punching bag by that moron Sean Hannity.

I don't see jail time in your future ... you're welcome to think what you like.
Frankly I wish these strings could stay away from getting heated, but I'm probably kidding myself.
However, your post above kind of proves my point. I'm assuming you lean somewhat left (as does roughly 1/2 of Amercians, and likely 1/2 of Canadians). Therefore you think Fox is a joke - this is hardly Earth shattering to anyone. But then you go further and name the two left leaning guys at Fox as being ok, but the other guys are morons and/or don't have a spine. For good measure you tuck a Dark Side of the Force analogy to the US sitting VP.
Now doesn't this look to you like a guy that maybe applies a filter to what he takes in? I think everyone is guilty of it to an extent, but you provide living proof of it.
If Americans specifically, could just calm down and really listen to all sides etc, and not make snap judgements like that I think they'd all take a huge step forward in understanding the real meat and potatoes of every issue.
I hope that was said in a way that won't have five guys explain to me why the US should have gone to Iraq ... so tired of that.

I do lean to the left, but I am not some radical who attends PETA and Greenpeace meetings. The honest truth is that most people who think logically and pragmatically tend to lean to the left. That's not to say there aren't Conservatives who use commonsense. Lindsay Graham, Chuck Hagel and John McCain usually have logical and coherent arguments to make. I follow politics enough in Canada and the U.S. to make an informed opinion.

Just so I have a firm handle on this.
1. Most left leaning people think logically and pragmatically
2. Three right leaning people have logical and coherent arguments
3. and that this is the honest truth
and you are only willing to admit you "lean" to the left.
Man where do I start.
North America is split down the middle man. Middle. That's 300,000,000 people. If you think most of those 150,000,000 are logical and only three of the other half are worth listening too then you are truly in the dark.
You are really showing your colours (and probably your age) in this one.

Wow I have to thank you, I've had a pretty glum couple of weeks, and you brightened me up. Thank you thank you thank you.
The fact that your willing to stereotype a whole political group based on probably reading newspapers and watching T.V. and forming your own opinion is funny.
I know people on the left and on the right and believe me logic and pragmatism isn't exclusive to the left wing side. In fact in following politics in Canada and the U.S. I could say that neither of those are bench marks of the liberal left. I could also say that Liberals live by a preset and illogical model based on a fantasy world that dosen't exist in a complex model of how life really works in on this planet, but I reserve that for only a few people that I know who lean to the left.
I do find your argument typical of the neo snobbish concept of how a great many liberals think.
but hey I'm just a knuckle grabbing, war hammer dragging right winger who when he's not stealing from the poor and showing no compassion whatsover to the down troden is busy stealing candies from babies and melting them down to fuel the furnace of the military industrial complex.

guys a pissing contest isn't the point.
when you have 300,000,000 people split down the middle, I think we can all agree that you can be intelligent and lean either way and still pass the slobber test.
Shame these things have to spiral downwards so fast.

You didn't state your opinion, you stated something as fact. That's my beef.
BTW...the last 4 words of the post I am replying to are something I can totally agree with you on. Hannity IS everything you said O'Reilly is. Can't stand him.

Now you're claiming intellectual superiority based on your political views? Man that gets old. I'm an idiot because I lean right on most (not all) issues. I don't think logically or pragmatically....ie I'm a moron.
Thanks.

Wow, what part of sarcasm don't you get? However coming from someone who basically just accussed one entire side of the political spectrum as illogical and foolish, I'm not surprised.
