Six friends and I went there tonight before the Jay Z concert. We sat next to Pharrell Williams and the rest of NERD's table. Pretty cool. For a while we were the only two groups in the restaurant.
It got PACKED though quickly, and eventually the people crowding around Pharrell's table got a little ridiculous.
Cool place, we sat on the restaurant side and not the lounge side though.
The burgers themselves... Personally, I can only speak to the Tiger Prawn Burger. It was just incredible. If you like shrimp, it'll be the highlight of your day.
My friends mostly agreed that they were among the best burgers they've had. One friend said the cheese bun alone was worth the cost of his entire burger.
If you're going before a Flames game, probably best to make a reservation.

Malcolm, do you know Sanj? he texted us tonite before the concert to let us know about Pharrell and his crew sitting right beside them in the restaurant. Were you part of the same group?

Nope, but there was a group of 6 that came in just before we left and sat directly behind us. They'd be about 25 feet away from Pharrell's table with a couple tables in between though. Not right beside. Our table was literally *right* beside them.

Sorry I must be a ###### but who is Pharrell?
NM Google ftw I am sure he is great in his own context
I'd rather sit next to Taylor Swift... AND host the Stanley Cup in the same night!

One time, I was at Starbucks, and I am pretty sure somewhere else in the world Elton John was at another Starbucks that week as well.
It was so cool I had to text my friends.
We were literally within a couple thousand miles of each other, while my other friend was like a hundred thousand miles from him.

I work in the north and live in the south, and the dome is between both. Game nights can get tricky because it's too far to go home only to turn around and go to the game. I might have to check this place out just so I can fill the void of time between work and flames games. thanks for the impressions.

I went to this place before Jay-Z as well.
The food took a long time to come out (1 hr) but they compensated by taking one of the meals off the bill and also gave us an extra 20% off. I thought that was a great gesture on their part considering it was offered to us as we hadn't complained (yet!).
The burgers are reasonably priced and taste great. There are lots of starter items and other entrees in addition to a variety of signature burgers or design-your-own burgers.
We were in the lounge and there are individual TV's in each booth and also many large big-screens on the walls for your game-viewing pleasure.
I'd suggest this place to anyone. Only thing is, it might be a bit hard for first timers to find as there is minimal signage from Macleod Trail and the entrance is kind of tucked away on a dead-ended side avenue. (14th ave?)
Two thumbs up!

Are there plenty of TV's in the restaurant side? If I wanted to go there for dinner tomorrow and watch the game, that would be possible?

No idea but the lounge is good for eating too. Booths, high tables, the bar is fine to eat at (unless there is more than 3 of you). Great TV coverage though.
And regarding the signage - I think the sign company screwed up as they were supposed to have a good sign up by now.

A group from our office finally went there today. Big thumbs up. We went about 11:20am, but the place was packed (both restaurant and lounge) by 11:45am. In our group, we had two beef burgers, one bison, one lamb, one veggie. Everyone loved theirs.
Service was quick (we did beat the rush, though) and friendly. Some cute ladies in black dresses working there.
Prices were decent. I'd definitely recommend it before a game if you can get a seat.

Finally stopped by there tonite and we were one of only 2 tables on the bar side. Some friends went before the game last nite and said it was packed.. apparently you can only make reservations more than 2 hrs before a flames game.
As for the food... I was impressed... had the Kobe burger which was pricey at $20 but quite tasty... i'm happy there's finally a decent place to grab a bite before the game... Ed's or the casino just don't cut it...

Ok so we were thinking of heading here for supper before the Flames game this Saturday.. I imagine it is jam packed before the game, but we were thinking of heading in around 3:30-4. Hopefully we can get a table or they will take our reservation prior to the game.
I imagine the service was pretty quick? I always like to get to my games really early so I can experience the Dome in full.
