Thanks. I've got a couple I took with my non-phone camera too. I'll post them eventually.

My skyline panorama is featured in the First Calgary Condo show suite, located down in the East Village and will have 18 floors.
The sales centre is at 553 Riverfront Avenue SE www.thenewcalgary.com/calgary-condos/first/

It will be there until the condo is completed and all 196 units are sold.

I went down there a couple days ago to see my panorama printed and displayed. The photo was mounted on a 12 X 9 foot lightbox.
Needless to say, they were very happy (as was I) with the end results.

I couldn't decide which version to post on flickr, so I created a duo of Alberta landscapes (before the snow fell)

The left is the original angle and the sepia version was flipped to give a bit of symmetry and it's easier on the eye.
Seen at 185mm and f/10
(Nikkor 70-300mm VR)

No need to be an ass. Not everyone needs to post photos, much less their own to participate in the thread.

Oh, and it's your.

Here's a bunch of my photos from when they were under construction. Taken between August 2011 and March 2012. Most are of the buildings themselves, some are the views from them.

Spoiler!

That's fair frinkprof, and 99% of the time that's true. MoneyGuy however came into this thread one time spouting off advice for everyone,
annoying since it was his first post in the thread, then after giving the advice he said he should post pics from a recent trip. To give us a lesson perhaps?

The advice was the most basic of advice and since then he hasn't posted any of his photos. In this case, I think regulator was correct posting like a dick.
I also prefer if this thread remained mostly contributions from forum users, but that's just me.

By popular demand. Sorry if my advice bothered anyone. I thought I was helping. I'll post more later. These are from our trip to Africa.

This was in Cairo as we cruised on the Nile. The dancer was spinning fast and I shot several and managed to time this one perfectly. Advice: Even if she asks you to dance, don't try to touch an Egyptian woman who is not your wife.

On the north short of the Red Sea. I was hoping to go diving here but got a cold and was unable to equalize.

We were about 15 metres from this cheetah. We watched it for some time as it hid in the grass watching a few gazelles.

Masai huts in Kenya. My wife got to dance with the warriors.

The Masai chief.

Masai tribe members.

I admire the dedication of anyone who keeps going outside and shooting in this weather. I tend to largely take a break from outdoor shooting during the winter.

I'm not even close to being a professional photographer, but I wanted to share some pictures from this town I visited yesterday. I thought it was pretty neat.
