PP is a tool and Jagmeet is a tool and Justin is a tool and quite frankly I don't want any of them running the country. But this is a bigger issue and absolutely needs to be address regardless of party affiliation.

Wait, what? What has Trudeau done that is compromising national security? Is he one of the named people in the NSICOP Report? What has he done on this file personally that is so unethically bad that he is now a national security threat?

How the hell does one MP look at the report and minimize it down to 'maybe 1 person is an issue' and another MP look at the exact same report and suddenly its a massive issue involving 11+ potential MPs ALONE.

Not only did she downplay it, she actually voted against adding it to the inquiry.

May’s press conference was just hours before a vote in the House of Commons Tuesday afternoon, on a motion by Bloc Quebeçois MP René Villemure to expand the scope of the Foreign Interference Commission to look at the NSICOP report and investigate parliamentarians who may have helped foreign states meddle in Canadian affairs.

The vote passed with an overwhelming majority, 320 votes to two, with only Green MPs May and Mike Morrice voting against.

I mean even the Liberals knew better than to block it. Literally the only party that voted against expanding the scope was the Green Party. But remember, according to the you know whos, the Green Party is the reasonable one! Hilariously, the you know whos suddenly have amnesia about May's "reasonable" statement in contrast to Singh's, focusing solely on "PP" to the level of questionable obsession and raging when they read Justin's name being mentioned negatively in a political thread, the leader of the current governing party in the middle of "one of the most damning scandals in nine years of Liberal tenure" no less.

I loved that May having a public statement on the NSICOP Report. I don't vote for the Greens, but that's far more professional and politically savvy than the Conservative's strategy of "don't draw attention or we'll feel the heat". If more details come out later with more context on what the report says and how it all transpired, I will be keen to watch.

Not a good look for PP, that's for sure. Let me reiterate a great article from Max Fawcett about the egg on Pierre's face:

Singh uses the word traitors in parliament, accuses Trudeau of allowing foreign interference yet is ok with propping up the government withholding names and allowing traitors in the house.

But Singh signalled his party will not walk away from the confidence-and-supply deal that is keeping the minority government in power.

Ozy you are good with this stance? Are you ok with PP and crew (as your focus is on them only) participating in foreign interference and allowed to stay in parliament, as you have made several accusations directed solely to the Conservative party?

By your logic Liberals are protecting Conservatives since only Conservatives can be at fault. And the NDP are protecting Liberals. As you voted NDP, you are protecting Conservatives .
