run it for a day, then run an 8 year

the problem with 7 is that you can't really draw any conclusions from the outcome because people will interpret the term variable differently.

No need to be so condescending . . .
Nobody here knows exactly what Gross is asking or what the Flames are offering.

And that's why your claims that the Flames are low balling or insulting Gaudreau are so baseless, hysterical, annoying, irritating, etc

I don't think Ekblad is the person having a tough time.

That last sentence is absurd.

If the Flames are offering him mid 6.5M on a long term deal, as several sources close to the situation have indicated, then yes, that's a low ball offer.

Sorry if that annoys you.

There is no credible source saying anything one way or the other. It is all speculation.

Alright guys, time to ignore Gaudreauvertime and start arguing with the bell curve that it is discounting the fact that 5/7 years are RFA.

Let's get him.

Baseless speculation on your part. And yes, it's very annoying. You've successfully annoyed the majority of this board.

That's not a low ball offer if the Gaudreau camp is asking for 8.5
They need to come to the middle. And they will.
But to accuse one side of being the problem is myopic.

Baseless speculation? Then I guess people speculating that Gaudreau's camp is asking too much should be ridiculed as well?

Funny how that doesn't seem to be the case. Below is your chance

Ok, then why don't you go around saying the same to the myriad of posters who have placed blame solely on the Gaudreau camp?

The reasonable people here are assuming that Gaudreau is asking for more than he'll get and the Flames are offering less than he'll get. That's pretty typical of negotiations.

You upon hearing those reports blasted the Flames for lowballing which makes you seem somewhat unsophisticated and simple since you don't seem to be accepting the reality that the two sides will meet somewhere near the middle.

Not sure I've seen anybody in this thread blaming the Gaudreau camp let alone a myriad. People are trying to counter your nonsense that the Flames are insulting Johnny. And yes, it remains nonsense.

It's a negotiation. Both sides are posturing. You're probably the only poster here making baseless emotional conclusions based on the negotiation.

We need another Squiggy & the Dink investigation on this.
We're pretty busy working on a bigger case, one that could rock the foundation of multiple account posters. It's such a big deal we've begun referring to it as our million dollar case because of how rich we'll be.

That being said it's clear this guy is the Devils fan from hfboards WhiskeyIsYourDevil that others have pointed out. It's clear he has no affection for the Flames and loves Jersey boy Gaudreau.

Dink out.

If that's true it's pretty sad. He's referring to the Flames as "we" in several threads here and clearly pretending he's a Flames fan, whereas on the other forum, he slags the Flames at every opportunity as a bunch of average players effectively holding Gaudreau back.

Really odd way for someone to spend their time if true.

I want to select 6.375M same as Monahan's contract but it's not an option.
