I don't care if he went to a football game either, but who cares about his world cup performance now? He's not on that team anymore and never will be again. The implication seems to be that he deserves a rest. Let's not pretend he just won the Conn Smythe trophy. He played three pretty meaningless games, in the grand scheme, and got bounced before the semi-finals.

Yeah, like nik said it's been mentioned several times. If you believe hes that fellow from HFboards he's a Devils fan from New Jersey, thus a Gaudreau fan. He has no loyalties or fanship for the Flames whatsoever.
