I just watched the first episode, and it lived up to expectations. Bruce is his usual charming self as Ash, and they don't skimp on the blood and gore. I can't wait for the rest of the episodes.

The first episode was a sight to behold. I had a grin on my face the whole way through, except when I was laughing. If they can keep this level of entertainment up through the series I'm positive that this will be a hit show. My only whine is the amount of cgi. Bruce does a great job pretenting something is there but it's still off for the viewer.
10 out of 10 necronomicons!

So are they pretending that Army of Darkness doesn't exist? Ash recaps the events of Evil Dead 2 but mentions nothing about going back in time to fight an undead army, and he doesn't have the kickass medieval mechanical hand
