At least tomorrow will be a lot more interesting with the 2nd pick.

Dalton Thrower still on the board... really hope he lands with the Flames.

The rest of the draft is going to move a heck of a lot faster then it did tonight. I think they'll probably cruise through rounds 2-7 in a couple hours.

NHL.com streamed it live last year, won't be able to catch any of it so can't wait to check in later in the day and check out the optimism.

I think they usually stream the rest of it on NHL.com. Of course, I could be wrong.

Many, many good players still available. I would be fine with any of the following at #42:

COLLBERG
KERDILES
Aberg
Bystrom
Finn
Frk
McCabe
Nieves
SEVERSON
Hart
Bozon
Pokka
Kulak

My preferences in all caps.

Trade the 2nd rounder + Butler to Edmonton for the 31st pick and get Collberg.

Love the Yakupov selection! Easy choice there.

Edmonton picks after Columbus in round 2. Matt Finn and Dalton Thrower are still on the board. They are the guys I really want with #32 overall. Was thinking he would have been taken in round 1. That would be best case scenario with the first 2 rounds if Finn/Thrower are still there. If Columbus takes Finn/Thrower, then I hope Edmonton takes the other one left. Otherwise, there are a bunch of other choices.......Colton Scissons, Sebastien Collberg, Ludvig Bystrom, Pontus Aberg, Andrei Vasilevski, Martin Frk.

Really want Finn/Thrower though.

I dunno if he's still going to be available at 42 but am hoping (with a healthy acknowledged bias) that the Flames pick Colton Sissons, the Rockets captain tomorrow.
http://blogs.thescore.com/nhl/2012/0...olton-sissons/

Plays tough, skates well, shoots well. If he hadn't had a major injury and played on a bad offensive team he would have gone in the 1st round today IMO.
