LOL, grammar correction fail.
The correct sentence would have been: "Christ, he looks like my friends and me."
'He' being the subject of the sentence, so you would use the objective pronoun 'me', not the subjective pronoun 'I'.

the test will be whether Jankowski + the second is better than someone like Tuevo, who we decided not to pick.
good luck to the kid, hope he turns out as good a the scouts think....hard to judge considering the competition isn't easily comparable, so the numbers may be inflated.

I am thrilled, absolutely thrilled with this pick. 10/10 Flames. This guy will be the first line center that we have been waiting for since Nieuwy

Which interview thing are you talking about Caged?
Nice to hear you loved the guy prior though.

[QUOTE=GGG;3758447]Like the philosophy, if you look at TSN projection it is to be a first/second line center compared to most of the other players around that point are checking centers.
I like feasters comment that this was the guy they were picking at 14 so moved down to keep him. Also like this pick because our 1st would have been traded for beans if he wasnt scouted by weisbrod.

Could have had Teuvo, and a couple of others, as well.
Like I said, this will be a very interesting draft to look back at in a handful of years.

I'm hoping the Oilers select Samuelsson at 32.

A little about Jankowski:
Quote:
Jankowski was ranked No. 74 among North American skaters in the midseason ranking -- and all of a sudden Stanstead College games became extremely popular.
"Come January, I don't think we had a single game where we didn't have about 25 NHL scouts in the stands," Rioux said. "It was certainly not something we'd ever experienced before."
What those scouts saw was a center with a strong skating stride and extraordinary vision that was still learning to play in his new, drastically bigger body.
