I haven't tried #3 or #4 yet, but absolutely loved the 2nd one, the bitter from Finland. I thought it was delicious, but I know bitter beers aren't for everyone.
Really looking forward to tryibg the cask aged 3rd beer.

I did a search for the word 'brooklyn' in this thread and it turned up empty.
My new favorite beer of all time - brooklyn sorachi ace
Just love it. Carried at a few places around town, you can use liquor connect to find out who carries it. They have lager which I personally don't think is anything to write home about, but this beer...

They were tweeting around to the Calgary local brewers last weekend asking if they fill growlers, so I think they are busy incorporating the local scene.
Speaking of which, FFWD published an article today just to keep everyone up to date on the local brewers. I hadn't realized Wild Rose got an extension on their taproom.

Not sure if you guys have Steam Whistle out there. It's a beer brewed in TO right across from the rogers centre (skydome) and is amazing IMO. You can also go on tours of the brewery while you're there and they give samples out. Their motto is "do one thing really well" and they only make one beer. If you can get it, try it.

Have really loved what Big Rock has done lately. Excited they're doing 14 limited releases. Their Barrel Aged series last year was fantastic, and I was a big fan of the Cuvée Bru.

This is finally popping up more around the city.
Strong beer, bit of sweetness to it, and real smooth. Best beer I've ever had.
