Iginla has been better defensively this year, but you don't think Sutter wanted him playing this way too? It's exactly the problem - Iginla should be playing how the coach wants him to play regardless of who's behind him.
And it's only five games in - let's see how committed the captain is to a complete game when he starts getting heat from the fans/media for not producing big numbers and when the nagging injuries start to pile up and every backcheck requires that much more effort.

I think thats the issue when it comes to Iginla. For years his mindset was "if I dont score, no one will" so he saw defensive play as an obstacle that was crippling him when he was living up to his role as a goalscorer.
Now that he's succumbed to pressure and is playing better defensively, the goals aren't coming. And guess what, now everyone's crying that Iginla's not doing what he's paid to do - score goals.
That's where his frustration most likely comes from - damned if you do, damned if you don't - because he's simply not at the point of his career where he can be both 40 goal scorer and Jere Lehtinen at the same time.

I think you need to take a deep breath.
The French also don't have a word for entrepreneur.

I am not going to get into a pi***** match with a pro who is so easily angered, so I'll make this simple. If YOU knew a little about where Hartley is from you wouldn't quite so up in arms. I should have said French, but thought Quebec was more apt. While Hawkesbury is in Ontario, it most certainly is Quebec in many ways.
Not that it matters, it really wasn't meant to anger anyone. My most sincere apology to anyone harmed by my comment.

Try again what? We must both know that it is a decidedly Francophone community.
Look, I don't get your uppityness. Using French & Quebec in the context of Canada is rather synonymous. I was going to say French originally, but went with Quebec because if hilarious amount of entitlement that goes on there. It's not even a knock on Quebec, it's just the way it is.
But again, my deepest apologies. Keep up the insults though.

You're apologies sure dont seem very deep, and the fact you used Quebec instead of Ontario for the "humility" is exactly my point. You might as well call Beaumont Alberta Quebec then because its prominently French. Great logic.

Ignoring geography, sure.

Yes, you were ignoring geography, which was my initial point. And again, you knowing where Hartley is from and purposely writing Quebec proves exactly what you were doing.

Anyways, back on topic. If The first line can get going, and the Stajan line keeps going, Kiprusoff regains his form...... A lot of ifs, but I think anywhere from 7th to 10th is realistic.
I'm a homer, but whatever.
