By panicking and making a bad deal.

I'm shocked they even traded Skinner after Bowman said he wasn't going to trade them. Thought they had to announce they were available first /s

They asked his permission first, because he really wanted to win in EDM.

I'm guessing it's a 3 way split this year with: Parekh, Kuznetsov, and Honzek.

With a couple of maybes if they're re-called/stay with the team in: Kerins, Morton, Gridin, and Brzustewicz. Maybe even Klapka, if he was on the Wranglers when they had last year's rookie dinner.
When they were in Vegas.

Penguins making a few moves today (Jarry for Skinner + Kulak; Dumba on waivers) Wonder if there is more to come. Is waiving Dumba just because they have Kulak now?

They already had 13m in cap space, so yes, I think this is just a roster move.

Yes.

They probably tried to get the Oilers to take him, but the Oilers don't have the cap space. So add Kulak and put Dumba on waivers - easy.

If Jarry gets you a 2nd and a depth dman, imagine what our players can return!

Considering Jarry and Skinner are pretty much functionally equivalent, the Pens got a 2nd and depth dman for basically nothing

I do like how fast the Canucks acted and didn't have a bunch of indecision about moving a player with term.

Just pushed the market and got it done quickly

What team will feel pressure to keep up with Minnesota stacking up? Dallas?

100% Dallas

Seguin injury

Colorado is the best team in the league already and who they likely play in round 2.

And now the team they'd likely play in round 1 just added Quinn Hughes.

Vegas and Edmonton a bit too but that's just to keep up with the central teams in general and more likely whatever Colorado might do

Wild are breathing up Dallas's Tookus . But Chicago is also chasing the wild and maybe they'll make a shake and bake.

Chicago is 7 points behind Minny and very early in their rebuild.

They may trade for a young player with term, but not looking for older players or rentals.
