Did they really need to wait until Kadri's 1000th and the game 20 mark to initiate whatever is coming? 
What was changing in the last game or two lol.

Yeah, they should have been in all of the trades that have been happening league-wide so far this season.

Watching after-hours with Kadri and he didn't say one way or the other if he was interested in being traded
What he did say was total canned answers that generally do lead up to players being traded.
" It's a business and I really just try to keep in the present and give it my all. It's early in the season still but we will cross that bridge when we get there"
I can see Kadri being dealt. I really can. I think his desire to be in the playoffs so late into his career will override his love of the city and organization.

Send him anywhere but Edmonton or Toronto and all flames fans will be cheering for him to win another cup. I could see him coming back to Calgary when he retires though

If Detroit is actually the team, I'd love more than a few things they have.
Danielson
Willander
Kiiskinen
Tuomisto
Buium (he's injured and hasn't played a game this year it seems so that's a risk)
Yeah they have things if love to have on the flames.

I think the Flames move up to 4 players before the TD. Here's the group of players I could see moving:
Andersson, Kadri, Coleman, Frost, Hanley, Lomberg, Pachal, Cooley.

They really should strike while the iron is hot with Coleman. This is likely the best he'll ever be.
