Just spitballing, totally Bingo’s call and I can’t speak for Sec but as stated above we’d post it on twitter ourselves if we wanted it there.
Not the end of the world, just might have to limit some of the finer details moving forward.
I would pay a monthly fee to get insider info like this. Will keep the haters out too hopefully.

The whole reason it’s interesting is because these insiders are able to share information on a public forum, regardless of the size of the community any comments here are absolutely public and fair game. So the idea that someone was sharing information here without that assumption in mind was kind of naive.

I come to this thread looking for updates from Royle or Sec. I hope they keep posting anything they know, debating the latest rumours is fun whether they are true or not.

I really enjoyed this Dan Milstein interview, the downside is that it's in Russian, but it has a bunch of tidbits about the agent side of the game, building Gold Star, the Milstein camp, NHL draft, the E. Kane situation, etc.

This is probably a Bingo question, but can you set up a thread that is locked for general viewing and can only be accessed if you are approved? Perhaps that isn't possible.
Make the insiders CP mods, or semi mods, create a thread that only mods can post in but that is visible to everyone registered and logged in. I’ve seen that on other boards that use the same back end.
The biggest issue with this thread IMO is all the bickering and pointless proposal debates. I really just want news from CP and media insiders about the Flames.
The rest of us can just post dumb stuff in the GDT.

This is such nonsesne. The thread topic isn't "omg info on Twitter is stolen ", it's a trade rumour thread. Personally I appreciate a guy like Royle he has information and when he passes it on he isn't playing games or attention seeking. But everyone has to realize that things from Twitter are continually posted here on Calgarypuck and some posters pretend that information is their own.
The guy on Twitter who everyone is up in arms about (apparently) gives credit back to posters here. This is an open forum and that happening isn't a shock. In fact we used to celebrate when someone got a bit of noteriaty elsewhere.
My twitter is deactivated, I've never heard of this twitter rumour account and I certainly don't know the history between Bingo and
DreDayPucks but nothing he posted that you're quoting goes against the current topic.
