I grew up with dogs all of my childhood and don't recall having serious allergy problems.. Now that I have been away from dogs for 5+ years, being around them sends me into a complete allergy nightmare... I love dogs but can't see how I could live with one- not sure if there are breeds that cause fewer allergy problems?
Until then, I have to deal with cupcake's two bloody cats!?! And I hate those little b@stards!

I had a dream the other night that I was being attacked by Whale Sharks.
For a guy who has been in the ocean twice in his life, why am I so scared of sharks?
Damn you Jaws.. and to a lesser extent Shark Week!
Oh Shark Week.. I can't stay mad at you..

Labradoodles. Apparently they were originally bred for service dogs for people with allergies. That's what we got. My wife wanted a dog and has allergies, and my deal was if we got a dog we weren't getting one that I have to carry around halfway through a long walk, which appears to be a vast majority of the hypo-allergenic breeds.
She's handled it pretty well. A bit of reaction the first week or two but seems to be going away. Much better than the bischon shi.tzu (sp?) (also hypo-allergenic) she had as a kid .

A whale shark is the largest living fish.

Is this your dog? your friend? your thread?
I'm going to start a thread "Man's favorite aerial transportation"
The contents will be "This picture was taken at an airport. 15 year old 747 and its runway"
end.
