This news story got me thinking

If they are sentenced as adults, they will receive a mandatory life sentence without the possibility of parole for 10 years.

If they are sentenced as youths, they will receive a 10-year sentence, consisting of a maximum of six years in custody and the remaining four years to be served in the community under conditional supervision.

These disgusting little punks could be tried as young offenders and possibly be rehabilitated during a short stay in a cushy all inclusive we call jail.

Or, they can be tried as adults and do 10 years before a possible parole.

This seems like a lose,lose, situation, this was a carefully planned rape, torture, murder and desecration of the body, without empathy or remorse...disgusting.

Can't we just lock these fawkers up and throw away the key and feel good about it ?

Is it so uncivilized to serve these guys a big dose of vengeance ?

I remember reading about this case. One of the murderer's dad is serving time for murder and I guess the son wanted to make him proud.

Its a pretty repugnant crime to me, and in my mind there's no way that this kind of violent crime should be handled in the youth court. I mean sure sentence him as an adult and put them in a youth facility until they're 18 and then move them into an adult facility or put them in protective custody in an adult facility.

This wasn't a mistake by these two, or a crime of passion or a damn I f$cked up crime. they planned and executed a murder with no feelings of mercy.

I think its not as much vengence as protecting society from two dangerous and violent killers.

Lock them up and throw away the key. This is a disgusting crime. To me - the young offenders act should be to protect people who are young and dumb and just made the wrong choice at the wrong time.
These guys planned and carried out a made for TV horror movie and they should be punnished accordingly.
