Is it possible to be able to set it so we can ignore entire threads?

Sometimes you just know it is going to be a mind-numbing experience wading through a thread. It would be nice to remove them and focus on the quality threads.

Not built in, but that vBulletin management plugin for Firefox does it I think.

It would be less embarrassing reading the site around others if there was a way to disappear the Fart/Puke/Poop style threads, with out having to use firefox. Are similar things available for safari?

Am I missing something here? How about not clicking on threads you won't like?

You would only be missing something if you use the plugin posted above and remove certain threads from your view.
