""The first couple of times, I didn't enjoy it," said Canadian Warren Hiller. "The first time I blacked out, and one time I was convulsing. But the third time I got better. I wasn't blacking out anymore."

Would you do this?

Stuff like this sends shivers down my spine!

I love the one guy saying it made him feel "euphoric" and as if he was on "cloud nine" and he'd do it again if he didn't hurt so much! Haha!!

You want Frank the Tank on cloud nine? One word. Boobies. When did life become so complicated that you needed to jam fish hooks through your flab and dangle around like a side of beef?

I love the fact that the guy didn't enjoy it at first but kept trying. I mean, the last time I did something that hurt like hell and made me pass out, I just figured I'd keep doing it untill I didn't pass out anymore.

I like your thinking, but do you like them with or without the meat hooks holding them "up"?

This takes stretch marks to a whole new level. No way in hell I could do it.

The euphoric feeling they get is probably their bodies' natural painkillers (endorphines, adrenaline?) kicking in.

I'd say there are plenty other healthy ways to get those things pumping!!

It really is amazing...

There is a piercing/tattoo place in West Edmonton Mall that has examples of these piercings in their photo albums. It looks disgusting, and I can't even imagine how it would feel. Just looking at it makes me ill, ugh.

I actually know the piercer for Dragon FX in West Edmonton mall. She pierced my septum last week for free.. To be honest this doesn't bother me, probably because I've been into the tattoo and piercing thing for years. Its not like its a new thing, something very similar to this was practiced by Native Americans hundreds of years ago. Called the sun dance. I don't think I could ever do it though, (something about getting a 6'3 235 lb guy hanging from hooks that worries me).

For a minute I thought it was the dangly thing in the back of your throat, the whatchamaglottis or somethin'.

You're right though, if Vanna picked a couple of different letters, that brings on a whole new level of discomfort.
