Cowtown Beef Shack - 5250 Macleod Trail S
on sunday night, a chef friend of mine told me about this little booth off macleod trail, called 'cowtown beef shack'. he says it is the best slow cooked beef on a bun in the city.
i went there today for lunch, and had the bbq sandwich ($8). sliced beef, onions, horseradish & banana peppers.....man was it ever good!
if you like beef on a bun, this place is for you. you can either walk up or drive thru. so go give it a try!

"Just off McLeod" is a pretty big area. Could you narrow it down a bit? (Cheese needs directions for when he's in town)

He makes a good sandwich for about $8

Yup, it's awesome. One thing I miss about my last job is that it was halfway between there and Rocky's Burgers. It's an impressive little setup that he has there.
