I heard on the FAN960 this morning that VISIONS is running a week long "Black Friday Sale." Something about everything 40% off. I wasn't paying too much attention and I'm not seeing anything online right now either.

Memory Express seems to have black friday deals starting at 10pm MST today... Anyone know what their black friday stuff was like before??

Tomorrow is Black Friday proper and it promises to be a very, very busy shopping day. The Dell.ca Consumer Black Friday Sale (no link just yet) will kick off at 6AM EST on November 26, so make sure you check in.

If I had the money I'd be all over that Vizio. God I spent $400 more for my 42" and that was an absolute steal a few years ago.

Should be able to. That's what I'm getting one for, and mine is an early 2008 (non-unibody) model.
I'm also doing this: http://www.mcetech.com/optibay/index.html. I'll use my new SSD as the system drive and stick the 500GB drive that's in there now in the DVD bay, as a second drive. Then take the DVD drive and stick it in the free USB external enclosure.
On paper, everything sounds good...
